Lovin' My New Pink Kitchen Set
24 October 2025
A co-blogger once said, “When you reach adulthood, it’s not flowers that make you happy anymore. It is having nice things for the home.”
I couldn’t agree more.
Adulthood can sometimes feel like a never-ending list of responsibilities. There are bills to pay, routines to follow, and goals to chase. But somewhere in between all that, there are small things that make life a little more joyful.
And for me, that’s having things at home that make me feel happy.
As a single lady, you’d think I’d be spending more on myself. The clothes, shoes, bags, or skincare. But lately, I’ve found myself buying more home items instead. Things that are not just pretty but also useful. I’m the kind of person who won’t spend money on something unless it gives me joy, or maybe a little commission, haha. Who doesn’t want that, right?

Honestly, I’ve always dreamed of building my own house. A place where I can live peacefully and do the things that make me happy. I want to decorate it myself, mostly DIY designs, probably.
Sometimes, when I’m browsing online, I check out things I’d love to use in my future home, even though I don’t have one yet. My parents actually gave me a small house, but it needs a major renovation before I can move in. It used to be in good condition when I was abroad, but my brother’s family stayed there for a while, and some things got damaged. Even after they moved out, it hasn’t been fixed yet.
So, guess who’ll have to fund the renovation? Yup, me. Fantastic, right? 😂 Time to save more!
A house like this please..🙏

Anyway… back to my new collections!
Lately, I’ve been collecting kitchen stuff, not because we need more at home (we already have plenty), but because I want to save it for my future house. I believe that someday, I’ll be able to fix that little house of mine, move in, and decorate it the way I’ve always wanted. Hopefully! Besides, I like cooking. And I thought I could use them for my blogs and affiliate marketing, too.
I recently bought two kitchen sets online. Online shopping is just so convenient, you don’t need to leave home, and I even get a small commission from my purchases. Like I said, I love getting something extra out of what I buy 😅.
The first one is this cute pink set of kitchen utensils. I chose pink so it would match the next set I planned to get. What I love about it is that it’s made from food-grade materials and has high-temperature resistance. It comes with 19 pieces, five knives, a tong, kitchen scissors, a whisk, spoons, spatulas, shovels, and more. It’s easy to clean, non-stick, and very handy!

Then there’s my new pan collection from Red Chef. I first saw it on Facebook and instantly fell in love with how cute it looked. It’s also pink, slightly lighter than the utensils but still a perfect match.

We’ve bought a lot of pans over the years, but this one is by far the best. It’s durable, non-stick, and made from safe materials, perfect for everyday cooking. It is stackable too because it has a detachable handle, which saves space. It was a bit pricey, but totally worth it! I’m sure these will last me years, with proper care, of course. Anything can break if you don’t value it!

Looking at my new pink cookware and utensils makes me imagine my dream kitchen, bright, minimalist, and lovely.
My dream kitchen in a bigger house...

That’s the thing about adulthood, it’s not just about paying bills or chasing success. It’s also about finding joy in the little things that make life feel lighter. For me, it’s these simple home items, cute cookware, and neatly stacked utensils, that spark happiness.
I may not have my dream house yet, but every piece I collect feels like one step closer. Someday, I’ll be cooking in my own kitchen, surrounded by the things I once only dreamed of, and that thought alone makes grown-up life a little sweeter. Life starts at 40 anyway. I still have 4 years to save 🤣.
Thanks for your time.

This is very true, Jane. These days, I have found myself more thinking of buying lots of things in my home as a woman and these things are what make me happy because they are what make me realise I am no longer a child.
Your cookware and utensils look amazing and I love the color. It’s good to get all these things as a woman and these will definitely serve you on a long run in the future.
Planning to buy more.. hehe..
You can share your experience, too !LADY
👍💪
Things we gain that serve a purpose many years to come are the best things. I can remember dorm life and eventually apartment life when I was in the military. I had acquired things that I couldn't use in a dorm room or apartment. Once I moved into house it had a place :)
I wish I could move to my own place someday. :)
It will happen one day :)
