Hello, @tengolotodo

Seasonal depression! It's not something I'd like to suffer from. So, I don't know if I'd like to live in a temperate place.

However, based on my mother, who at eighty years old now lives in Utah, in the United States, often shares images of the seasons with me. Although she's homesick for her homeland, she's never complained of depression, only of extreme cold or heat.

So, I deduce that I probably wouldn't get extremely depressed either.

Of course, I understand that you have a different reality and customs, as well as a different way of seeing the world around you. And putting myself in your shoes, I sympathize with you, and I trust that you'll be able to find the light in the darkness.

Greetings, my friend.

Yeah SAD can be a drain. Humans are great and we learn to adapt. That is interesting about your mother and the homesickness. I must admit I have probably lived abroad for over half my life and I never got homesick, probably because I told myself why leave home lol!
Ah yes the extremes of heat can be a pain, at least here it is never too hot, and this part of Scotland never gets too old either. It is very rare that we even see snow for example!
