Albums were the graphic custodians of our best moments. As you say, they've been displaced today by digital photography and video technology. Who can resist progress?
Those photographs are important to you because of the emotional charge they represent. It's hard to lose those you love in such a short time. Although over time I've learned that they don't go away completely, they remain within us, nourishing us with their memories. By the way, I recommend the pleasant ones; I keep the ones about hardship there, always present, but low-key.

So, within us there are always those we love who have already departed. It is true that it is impossible to resist progress, but there are undoubtedly things that are more valuable in physical form, or in previous formats, and there will always be comparisons between the past and the present.
