Hello, @phyna
I have also been a book lover since my youth. And I share your beliefs. However, choosing good books is also a highly valued art.
I used to read a lot of business and self-help literature. Some advice was useful, and some not so much, but what is undeniable is that books opened my eyes, making me more flexible and adaptable. So that businessman you mention is partly right, but not entirely. Read a lot, and act when you must.
Now, reading should be varied. Yes, for practical purposes. Although what brings you the most value are those that explore the human soul: fiction, and poetry. The latter requires a special gift and sublime intelligence.
I really liked your post. Thank you for sharing it.
Greetings.
Definitely, good books matter too. I'm glad you really enjoyed my post. Thank you for your thoughtful comment.
