Don't judge a book by it's cover, a lesson of patience
hello guys, it's been while i made a post, i have been busy with alot. This post i made, after i have considered a lot of stuffs happennnig, i decided to write this.
this is a normal saying we hear everyday, we all know the meaning, but we still fall victims to this. Just like a book cover we never know is in it, the value of the book whether it's good or bad, but the book alone can't fully describe the book. just like a manga , the cover image may have a nice artistic drawing or the best title you ever seen, but the manga itself may be trash but the other manga may have a simple title and be golden, you know what i mean right? same thing with living beings like us humans, sometimes the worst of us maybe the ones putting on a tie but the greatest and kind hearted ones are the ones that look plain, both in terms of finance, knowledge and attitude. The view of the majority now is that the nicest one are does looking good and the more infuence one has means he is a great person. But life has proved those things wrong. Let's get into this more proper.
Many people form a quick opinion based on look, wealth and status, but reality always have it's way of doing things, value those not always show itself at first glance and most times they are overlooked. The things that matters the most to people is the first impression, that's whywe have the quote[ first impression matters] but it shouldn't be that way. Let's talk about a plain looking diamond, at first it looks a little appealing, but when it is polished "BOOM" it suddenly gets more attention and value, will you say first impression matters in this case, the diamond looked plain, one may even reject it at that time but when it's polished it becomes everyones dream. So, who do you think benefits more from the value of the polished diamond? the one who found it and patiently polished it, right?
Like i said in the beginning, we all know that we shouldn't judge but the human nature always blinds our judgement. Just like the day my boss first saw me, he thought i looked weak couldn't handle things well, but right now he consider as an important member of the company, on my many occasions people always have a different view of me. Judging someone from looks leads to prejudice and miss opporturtunitiess and taking time to know someone leads to a lasting relationship.
So let's forget the first quote (first impression matters) and embrace thie new quote (looks can be deceiving) in the world we find a lot of new things, we don't know it all and more importantly they're things and people with a different view point so don't judge and keep an open mind to things. By so doing you will see people's true nature and also have a relaxed mind and attitude towards all you see. So thanks for reading to the end and i hope you learned something from my post and so have a blessed day and keep enjoying the little things around you, they matter.
This is a food for thought 🤔🤔🤔
Keeping an open mind helps us maintain the right attitude with people around us.
I learnt something 🤗🤗🥰
