I didn't want to remove it because I was hoping it would attract butterflies. Instead, it attracted a wasp.
Wasps are also very useful pollinators.
I was surprised that they also like flower nectar.
In general wasps love feeding on nectar (and also honey if you provide it).
They animals they hunt serve as precious protein source for their larvae.

Thanks for the tip. I had the idea that wasps were aggressive and dangerous, which is why I'm amazed to see this one so calmly searching for nectar. Another unusual thing is that I always saw them looking for nests inside houses, and I hadn't seen them on any other flower. Here they are called horse-killers. Regards.
