I navigated the winding backstreets of Hoi An to reach this inconspicuous cafe. Inside the entryway, stepping into the main courtyard felt like finding a tropical oasis in the city. A wide ground level deck with nice tables sprawled under a roll-back roof, dotted with hanging ferns and orchids.

We grabbed an coffees and picked a perfect spot to catch up while admiring the surroundings. The courtyard exuded a relaxed, carefree atmosphere. Leafy potted plants everywhere created a living decoration. Gentle music floated over the space, just audible over the gurgle of fountains.

After chatting for a while in the breeze, I wandered upstairs to discover even more plant magic. The sunny second floor was a greenhouse of succulents.

Plump leaves and exotic flowers burst from every container. Paired with stunning rooftop views, this was an Instagrammer's paradise.

While not ideal for laptop focused work, Ancient Town's lush ambiance is perfect for unwinding.

The globally inspired menu provides tasty fuel for long conversations about life, philosophy, and future plans to change the world. You leave feeling refreshed.

Next visit, I definitely want to try their woodfired pizzas, which my friend told me about. The highlight is apparently a whimsical dragon pizza oven, combining culinary and visual art. Just another endearing touch for this bohemian cafe.
