Spring Haiku and Travel

Clawing at the sky,

Old trees naked in the cold,

Awaiting spring leaves.

I am on the road and getting into a much better mental space as I see new places and old acquaintances. I am currently sheltering from the storms and wind sweeping across the Midwest. Hopefully I can still make it to the path of eclipse totality by Monday afternoon. And hopefully this storm clears out the clouds.

Within days the trees are like that and wait for the summer, then the leaves come back on them and they start to look more beautiful again.
