One piece of advice from the authors who presented about self-publisbing at the library: hire and outside editor! It needs to be someone who can work within your style to clean up typos and help find inconsistency without completely making your voice into something generic.

Indeed. To do that I shall need to be able to afford to hire someone.
So it brings us to the ouroboros of logic between getting started and possibly making money and finding something you need money for preventing you from getting started.
Claire did, however join a platform for ghostwriting and needed to study formatting and editing. She needed to study and do case study exams with moderators on the platform for both ghost writing and editing. They are quite strict with their requirements.
However, the platform is not doing that great because of the amount of AI writing tools are currently swamping the market and the remaining customers are not enough to keep the amount of people on that platform happy.
So I hope that works out! 😁
We have a decent chance!
