I can't speak for the Hive Morality Police, but I'd say your weekly activity level alone should forestall accusations of mooching off the chain, to say nothing of sticking around for 8 years.
I too have seen forums and websites come and go, so seeing a blockchain withstand so many storms and still stand is cause for celebration too.

LoL, the Hive Morality Police couldn't care less your weekly activity, your seniority, the quality of your content, your consistency or your loyalty to the chain as long as you don't dare to mention "truths" that are too "naked" in your posts.
I'm not entirely sure the Hive Morality Police have any consensus idea about what they are trying to control/curtail. Thinking back to the earliest days of the old chain, it seemed like frustrated basement-dwelling "coder bros" being upset that their "blockchain toy" was being used by people who had no interest in tech or code. A bit like the Internet of the 1990s when it was "EEEEWWW, my mom is online and sharing RECIPES!"
Hive has proven surprisingly resilient and I am definitely grateful for that!
