May Retrospective and June Plans
Time for June Power Up Day! Stake at least 10 Hive Power and earn a badge from @HiveBuzz. I converted 100 HP while composing this post.
June is also "Pride Month," so expect evil corporate and governmental entities to switch their social media profiles to rainbow colors and pretend they're all about love and inclusivity for the next few weeks. Yay meaningless symbolism!

- April Retrospective and May Plans, last month's edition of this post.
- Bureaucracy Backfires for Mandatory Reporting Laws, how legislation failed to work as advertised in yet another sphere of life.
- A 3D-Printable First Aid Device, a demonstration of the Gaza Tourniquet from InRange TV.
- Silk PLA Miniature Test, showing off a 3D printing experiment. Silk PLA is a pain to use compared to standard PLA, but it looks nice.
- Libraries Face Continued Challenges, commentary on John Oliver's episode about the modern library censorship movement.
- Sole Considerations, discussion of shoes where the rubber meets the road.
- Weekend Engagement: The Death Penalty, a contentious essay on a topic suggested by @galenkp.
- The Immigration Debate and Liberty, an even more contentious essay about US immigration policy and the frankly xenophobic attitude especially prevalent among the Christian Right. See also How Should Christians View the Immigration Debate? from January.
- Happy Towel Day! Only hoopy froods sass this.
- Three Tune Tuesday: Piano and Guitar, a hopefully not-at-all contentious entry into the weekly event hosted by @ablaze
- Are These The Perfect Boots For Me? A boot review, and I think they might be about as close as I can hope, all things considered.
Eleven posts. Not too shabby! I'm starting to feel like I'm getting back in the groove of writing semi-regularly again.

Of course, this groove might not last. Turmoil is on the horizon. We'll see. I still intend to write a tent review series once the weather is reliably pleasant instead of frigid overnight. I'll also probably share an interesting video creator or two, offer opinions on current events, critique articles, and so on. Stay tuned!

Id be interested to know your thoughts on good quality hot weather tents if you know anything about them.
I am a novice, but I'll try what I have and offer some opinions. I assume bugs are a nuisance there?
Happy Hive PUD @jacobtothe 💪🐝
