Eclipse
(Edited)
Afternoon twilight
The Moon blotting out the sun
Then daylight returns

Sun dimming slowly
Street lights flickering to life
Audience cheering
Strangers watch the sky
Comrades of astronomy
Sharing the moment
A stabbing sunbeam
So bright after the darkness
Just memories now

I’m sad that I didn’t experience the eclipse
Well, some people saw it in the northern part of my country
I was in an area that only had about 65% coverage at the peak. It was still pretty cool to see. Luckily I was able to experience totality back in 2017, or whenever the previous one was, I can't remember.
The last eclipse was partial where I live, and this one would have been barely 20% or so.
I forgot about it and missed it, but what I have heard, here in Florida, I did not miss much.

You didn't get lost during the eclipse did you?
Nope. Just been busy offline. I still lurk, but I've delegated most of my voting power to curation guilds for now. I have a couple heavier post topics in a mental draft form, and I expect to post for May Power Up Day if those others don't get written first.
