My Photoshoot of an AUDI R8.

For today's post, I have to be honest, I got excited when I saw the theme for this week's Friendlymoose Photo Contest!

This week's theme is: TRANSPORTATION.

First, I saw it doesn't have to be my own transportation. But, I already shared some photos of a steam train in a previous round of the competition. So, I immediately thought of a visit I paid to an AUDI dealership a while ago.

I met one of their sales reps at a local market one day and we started talking about photography. The conversation ended with him inviting me to come and do a photoshoot at their dealership whenever I wanted to.

I obviously took him up on this.

The first photo will be my entry for the contest.

Besides this photo being my own favourite photo from that day, a niece of mine also got excited when she saw this photo and mentioned that she would actually pay money to get this photo mounted on canvas and to hang it in her room.

Well, I decided to surprise her. I got it mounted on canvas and gave it to her as a gift.

Here it is...

Every time I see one of these on the road, my heart skips a couple of beats...lol! As a family man, it's not really the kind of vehicle that I would spend my money on (if I had that kind of money anyway...lol), but hey, I think it's a beautiful vehicle. What do you think?

So, having the opportunity to take some shots without anybody asking questions, I used this opportunity to the full.

I obviously had a lot of fun, getting shots of many of the other models too, but for today's post, Ill stick to the R8...lol.
