Focusing on Detail in the Valley of a Thousand Hills

Against the vast open spaces in the Valley of a Thousand Hills, there are also smaller details that can be captured. You just need to focus and observe.

Today is the second time I am adding the tag for the #colourblackandwhite community.

I appreciate this community as it creates an opportunity for everyone who loves both colour, and black and white photography to publish in colour and also in black and white and where we can enjoy similar work from others.

On a recent walk in the Valley of a Thousand Hills, west of Durban South Africa, I found this unique little bench where you can sit down, relax, and enjoy the spectacular view in front of you.

I loved the detail of the rocks in the foreground, being edged off against the background of the Valley in the background.

This one, very prominent rock in particular drew my attention...

And in the last image for today, some greenery in the foreground with the bushes down below.
