Admiring the AUDI RS Q8
Earlier this year we went to a Farmer's Market in our area.
To my delight, I discovered an area where an AUDI dealership displayed some of their vehicles.
I had my camera with me as I was out to take photos of the surrounding area that day. The market is located in a beautiful area where you find some beautiful scenes in nature.
But for now...back to my discovery of the cars on dosplay...
One of my favorite cars, the AUDI Q8, happened to be on display and I was not going to miss the opportunity to take some photos.
So, I started having fun by taking some photos...lol!
One of the sales reps noticed me and came walking toward me. I thought to myself... "Yes, here we go... He's going to try and sell me a car."
But to my surprise, he was more interested in my camera than selling me a vehicle. It happened to be that photography is a passion of his and he loves taking photos of cars.
I told him I am more into nature photography and still learning. Cars, I have never really taken any photos of cars yet. I was just having fun because I love cars and AUDI is one of my favorites.
We started talking and he started giving me some tips.
As mentioned, I love the AUDI Q8 and I started putting some of his advice into practice, playing around and hoping to get some good results.
I started experimenting with the different angles he pointed out to me...
Another model they had on display was the AUDI S3
Everything that could open, was open on this car...lol!
I had lots of fun. I took many photos. But, long story short, let's get to the topic I want to share today.
The friendly sales rep invited me to visit the dealership where he was working. He said I was welcome to come in and take as many photos as I wanted.
I took him up on the offer. A few weeks later, I decided to visit him and see if I could get some decent photos of some nice cars.
He took me on a tour through the whole building. We started in the showroom on the ground floor. We then progressed to the showroom on the first floor. He then took me to where more vehicles are kept - 5 floors. There were some used vehicles...but there were many vehicles that he showed me that had never even been in a showroom yet...
For today, I would like to share with you another one of the flagships in the AUDI range... the AUDI RS Q8.
According to audi.co.za, this beast can accelerate from 0 - 100 Km/h in 3.8 seconds!
At the time of writing this post, the price tag for the AUDI RS Q8 starts at $123,995.00 (Source: caranddriver.com)
I remembered some of the angles he showed me...lol.
The interior is...well...need I say anything?
And those wheels keep you firmly on the road...provided you practice self-control and remain a responsible driver.
Yes, I will admit... I love speed. But I hate reckless drivers. Especially when they are driving on public roads where they can endanger other people's lives. As I heard a Formula One driver say some time ago... "There is no art in driving fast! Any idiot can push his foot down on the floor. The question is... Can you handle the vehicle at any given speed? The art is in how you handle the vehicle."
I couldn't take good side views of this beauty, as it was parked between two of his "brothers"...another RS Q8 to the left, and a Q7 to the right...
And with that, we come to the end of today's post.

Audis are undoubtedly seductively gorgeous cars. Watch out though. The resale value is horrific.
Hi, @clairemobey! Yes, you are so right! Even though AUDI is one of my favorite cars... right now, it is not to say that I would spend my money on one... Especially not in our current economy as it is at the moment...
But it remains a beautiful vehicle. It's also a pleasure to drive them... But yes, we always have to decide what is practical and what isn't...
I've never been a huge fan of Audi, but let's be honest.. they are evolving so nicely. And seem like being closer and closer to the cars of future, which I love!
Yes, we all have our favorite cars😉👍. And in all honesty, I wasn't a huge fan of AUDI some time ago. But while working at the Soccer World Cup back in 2010 when it was hosted here in South Africa, I had the opportunity to be introduced to AUDI and I drove some of their models during that time. I was so impressed that I became a huge fan since then. But we also have to be honest...it's an expensive vehicle...
Thanks for your feedback and for sharing your thoughts, @gabrielatravels! I do appreciate it!
That's a beautiful experience indeed! The pleasure was mine to stop by. Hope you have a lovely Sunday! 🤗
Thank you! I hope you have a lovely Sunday too👍!
Beautiful photos, incredible how sharing hobbies can lead us to meet people and open doors, you surely enjoyed going to the dealership to take photos, the price there is much lower than here "Brazil" it is not that $123,995.00 is cheap (it is still a monkey for rich) but here the AUDI RS Q8 costs twice as much :( around 240,000.00
Greetings
Wow! Yes, that is a lot of money!!
Well said...lol! That is a fact!
Thank you for your feedback and for sharing your thoughts, @hendersonp! And yes, I do agree with you...it's amazing how sharing hobbies can lead us to meet people and open doors! And I did enjoy going to the dealership and taking those photos indeed😅👍!
