RE: It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Merry Christmas! I've heard stories through my life about those wonderful Christmas windows in some of the famous cities. I've never experienced any of those fancy ones myself. Of course the small city I was raised in had their version when there was a booming downtown (booming for small city that is.).....but it hasn't been like that in many years. We had the best Christmas stuff going on back in the day.

My tree is up and most of the ornaments are on it. I normally wait till the weekend after Thanksgiving, but I bought a new green artificial tree and it came Monday of last week. I "had" to take it out, set it up and make sure the pre-lit lights worked.... didn't I??? Of course I did, in case something was wrong, there would be time to send it back and start all over and.... well.... once it was up, there was no sense in taking it back down and storing the box for two weeks. (The world, according to me). I'm waiting for the rest of the decorating till the weekend after Thanksgiving, but it has been fun having the tree lit in the mornings and evenings.

I like it and there was no one here to stop me.
