Just a button ??? For reals, how do you know it even works??

I don't know about those new fangledee electric cars. There may be more now, I don't know, but for the longest time, there were so few places to take them to charge up and the major one I did know of over in the next little city was stuck behind some outlet stores in a secluded area where even if someone heard you scream if you got attacked, nobody would get there in time to save you.

If I gotta stand around a while till I can zoom off again, I want to be somewhere busy with a lot of people around.

Good thinking taking the salesman with you on your test crash! LOL

I know, a button!

And sometimes it doesnt work. Twice I have thought aye aye, whats happenning?! when the car starts rolling when it is mean to be on brake!

I dont think I could cope with an electric. Thank flip mine is petrol and it is quite efficient compared to my old beast!

Ding Dong! I thought I read something the first time that made me think you were talking about one of the electrical contraptions! I went back and I am not sure what gave me that idea. It could have simply been the button... that danged button! I don't really know.

My FIL (the first one..LOL) had a car way back where there was no gear shifter in the floor or on the steering column. There actually were buttons in the dash. They were raised and kind of reminded me of the buttons on the old cassette players Talk about weird! Anyway.... I'm glad you and the salesman lived through the test drive.....

.... or did he? 🀣

Haha, he survived. It at least that's what I'm putting in type πŸ˜€πŸ˜€

That would be horrible. There enough shenanigans going on in new cars without more buttons!! Lol
