Little effort, good grade. My best subject. Hive reach out prompt #44

Back then in college I was clouded by so many subjects that had to be studied, not only study but make sure you pass with a good grade.
That's the country I found myself in. You are made to study rigorously, not minding what aspect you love or not.

In as much as these subjects tend to be much, all of them with high and equal expectations of you doing well in each of them but then you know of course that it's almost impossible to pass all the subjects with equal energy.

As one of these subjects tends to take a larger portion of your heart and much of your attention, leaving all other subjects at the mercy of you trying to make your grades good with the little love and effort you put in making it possible.

I would have mentioned the subject that is the worst for me but then I think that will be reserved for another day if a prompt that requires us to talk about our worst subject comes up.

So in this light I would like to mention the subject that is for me.

“AGRICULTURAL SCIENCE” this subject happened to be my best subject simply because I don't find myself struggling to pass it.

It's a subject that has to do with the study of plants, animals, and soil. This subject happened to be my magic subject while I was still in school as I used to pass it with good grades without putting much effort in studying it, this is simply because i have carried out the practical aspect of what I am being taught in class.

This happened because I came from a family who happened to do more farming activities.
It has been a thing of generations. My great grandfather passed it to my grandfather and then to my dad.
So You can see it has been a thing of the family and so it made the subject something simple to handle.

I just go to class to do theoretical aspects of what I have been doing in the field for a very long time.

When a question like how long does maize takes from its planting stage to the harvesting stage I already know I don't need to go through my book to tell how long it takes.

Or the process and stages of farming a maize.
Talking of the clearing of bush, ploughing of soil, planting of grains, weeding and then application of fertilizer and then harvesting. And I can go on with the process after harvesting it, that's the stage of processing it.

So most of the plants we were taught in class are what I have dealt with on the field.

Talk about soil science. I can tell you the types of soils we have and what plant is suitable for each soil.

So for this I don't have to study hard to get a good grade in that subject.

Whatever you do with little effort but achieve a maximum result comes as a result of love.

Whatever I learn in class is an addition to the little I already know on the field and it has greatly improve my standards of farming, so I am not only making good grades in class but It has also taken a good effect on the field.

I have never scored below “A” on that particular subject, so for that reason I tag it to be my best subject in school.

Wow agricultural science, you must be a brain box. I had issues with that subject, it with biology because I can't fix those botanical names. I can tell you were really good. Thank you for sharing this wonderful piece
