Little did we know when we graduated that the world has got a lot more to teach.

While in school, you see school as a cage where you are bonded to a certain system hoping to be free some day.

You feel you are all ready to explore what is supposed to be rightly yours. While in school you feel like there is something out there that is waiting for you to get and your head keeps telling you that it's been kept somewhere where you just go and pick without stress using your educational qualification as a ya stick for getting whatever you feel it's it.

But the fact is that the outside world is totally different from what we think it is, when one is told he thinks people around him or her are just blabbing until he gets to that stage.

I have seen what we call “shege” (suffered) with my eyes widely open to reality as what I think it is happen not to be what it isi have heard so many stories from so many people trying to caution me but I felt I was better than them and I was with the believe that mine will be very easy as I will not have to go through all the preaching and warning given to me.
I have come to realise that all what was said is true, that was when I discovered nothing is easy and nothing can be gotten on a platter of gold except if you have connection with the right men and getting the connections itself comes with sacrifice that needs to be offered trust me you can't get to men with your Ego all up looking down on everybody.

As a graduate I will advise that you lower your head to the ground. I am not asking that you become stupid bringing yourself to a level where your worth will not be recognised.

What I ask that you do is humble yourself be ready to learn what the society (life) will teach you and unlearn somethings you have learnt that will not be of any importance to your existence and then relearn what you have been taught as it will be of great benefits to your living outside the school.

The outside world has a lot to teach but until you are meek you won't learn what will make you prosper and move swiftly in the outside world.
