The phone rang, it was her son, not again Catherine looked at the phone as it rang.

What could he have done this time around? She asked the question that can only be answered if she picks the call.

When will this boy leave his proud and arrogant lifestyle and embrace the life of simplicity? She asked again but then she still needs to know what's wrong this time around.

Not after he injured someone who is still receiving treatment at the hospital where I fit the bills, so many crimes that would have led him to jail were averted.
He is lucky his mum is a Judge, but that should not be a ya stick for his bad behaviour.

After pacing around the room with so many thoughts going through her mind, the phone rang severally. Maybe I should just allow him to face his shit by himself and maybe he will learn from it.

Judge Catherine tried to ignore but then the motherhood in her will not grant her peace so she decided to pick up the call after so many ringing. She strolled to her garden as she tried to gain a stable and a calm place to talk since she already knew her son will never call until he is one sort of trouble or another.

Catherine took a deep breath and then just gave them an order. Please just lock him up behind the bars. Maybe I can gain my sanity when I am sure of where he is and I know his calls will not come any moment from now.

Keep him there to rest and I too will have to rest from all the troubles he causes.

Felix has always enjoyed the leverage of an already made wealth since his mum is rich and powerful all he does was go around spending extravagantly and causing trouble since he knew his mum has always got his back, but this time around he is about to pay for his sins as his mum has made up her mind to teach him a great lesson that will bring him back to his senses.

Catherine called her bank manager and ordered that her son's account be freezed and all that was given to him she withdrew, keeping him at the mercy of his strength to be able to live his life all by himself.

Felix was surprised at his mother's decision on him; he spent 1 week under police custody before being released.

By the time he came out life was no longer the way it used to be as his mother rented a small apartment with nothing in it, gave him a small amount of money and asked that he start a life all by himself since he wouldn't appreciate the one he was given.

And that was the beginning of a new dawn for Felix.
