A SNEAK PEEK OF A NEWBIE ON HIVE

HI! Hola! Annyeong-haseyo! Hallo! To everybody in this prestigious platform.

I am Ekpenyong Ikwo Iyanuoluwa, a native of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. I was onboarded by a passionate Hivian @princessbusayo, my lovely neighbor who introduced me to the Hive world a few days ago. Thanks to her, I found myself here, and you all found me.

Like I said earlier, I'm Iyanuoluwa, I am the firstborn of my family, I have a big sister (cousin), but I don't like to refer to her like that, she loves me with the whole of her heart, and I do love her too, LOL.

I studied Guidance and Counseling at the University. It is so funny how I didn't like the course, but along the line, I fell in love with my course. I became passionate about teaching and imparting knowledge to students.

I always look forward to the mini chats with my students, where I also share a few pieces of advice, probably about their academics, and everything in general.

I also love being around little children, their smiles and giggles melt my heart. I'm that kind of girl who's incredibly reserved in crowds but opens up around people I love. Although I value my personal space, I cherish spending time with those closest to me.

I love listening to music a lot. There's this feeling it gives me whenever I listen to calming songs. My dad once told me that when I was little, I would cry a lot, but whenever he sang, I'd become so calm - isn't that funny?" Lol😁.

My favourite music genres are gospel and Nigerian love songs. Those love songs make me want to fall in love immediately. Ha ha ha! Another thing I enjoy doing for fun is reading. I read novels, storybooks- you name it - in either hard ebook or hard copy format.

I'm a fan of romance, fanfiction, and a bit of mystery. Once I get hold of a book and dive into it, nothing else matters.

I love food a lot- who doesn't, right? Everyone enjoys it! Sweet food brings me joy. I'm not a great chef, but I try a bit. And yes I forgot to mention that I watch movies a lot - a bit of Nollywood, k-dramas, and American romances. I tend to avoid action movies, I'm just a girl who loves quiet feel-good movies and k-dramas, LOL!".

I guess I have to put a full stop to my intro for now. Just as I pointed out in the caption, @iyanuoluwa21 is here on Hive, ready to vibeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee with everyone. I'm excited to join this family!
