Major Issue

Flood is such a major issue that needs to be addressed. People are unable to work, businesses are very affected, some people can get illness from it, while others' lives will be disrupted. It's painful to hear when a leader of the country says, it's the new normal and we should get used to it. How about mitigating the problem? Knowing billions are spent on flood control but people cannot see the product. Large parts of our our country we're flooded, our province included. It's not yet the end for this year because we're still heading the middle of the monsoon season. We can't get complacent.

Monday

I already have plans of going back home, and clean up the mess we left caused by the floods. However, it's been raining during dawn, and all we can do is expect the house with waters remaining. What we need is monsoon break. It's fine if it will rain in a day but a maximum of an hour is fine. We just wanted everything dry.

Walk in the Floods

We had this walk in the floods as we evacuate at my sister's house. It's difficult but we have no choice. Our boots will get filled with water. Jumper boots would be great but it's costly. We took doxycycline after walking in the floods for protection from leptospirosis.
