Isn't Over
Well, flooding isn't over. Our town is still submerged for around three days already. Some places are even experiencing worse. It isn't because of the rain because it's minimal compared to the rainfall the past days. Our province catches the floodwaters coming from the highlands, and rivers are overflowing already. Finally, our town was also declared under State of Calamity. I'm not sure what they are going to do but some people working in the government are selective.
Thursday
It seems this whole week won't be good. Typhoons Crising caused monsoon rains last Sunday, followed by Typhoon Dante last Monday, and now it's Emong. Yes, 3 typhoons in a week. The sad thing, the latter one will visit our province. I hope it diverts, and won't bring strong winds.
Roads Still Flooded
In the pictures is the Maramba Boulevard Park, which is a major road in our town. It's still partially flooded. But it's already an elevated road, so it means the flood is so bad this time.
Oh my... it's good at least there are many trees beside the road. They help minimize the flood. This is why we need to pray everyday for calamities like this not to happen often. 🙏 Prayers of penance are good, like the Chaplet of the Precious Blood of Jesus this month of July. 😉
