Filming in a Skateboard Sketchy but fun!

Some ideas seem smart until you’re actually doing them—like filming on a skateboard in the rain at 6 AM. But hey, that’s part of the adventure, right?

This morning, I was out with Runclub Zurich, documenting their run for an aftermovie. The city was waking up, the streets were slick, and the rain made everything look straight out of a movie. Perfect vibe—except for one small detail… I was filming on a skateboard.

Wet pavement, unexpected bumps, and a camera in hand—definitely not the safest setup. But the energy of the runners, the motion, the rain reflections—it all made for some epic shots. Rolling alongside them, trying to keep up while avoiding a wipeout, was equal parts terrifying and exhilarating.

Can’t wait to put the edit together! Sometimes, the sketchiest setups create the best footage. Would I do it again? Absolutely. Would I recommend it? Maybe… just bring better wheels.
