Hi Hivers!

Here comes my entry for the weekly photo contest #FPC organised by @friendlymoose

Since we came back to Croatia, we had the chance to witness the Black Redstarts birds, nesting in our home, more specifically in a room attached to the green house which we are using mostly as storage for tools.

In the beginning we believed that the birds were Robins, as we saw the parents to be, having a red belly, it turned out they are Black Redstarts.

We are blessed to have them & witness their beauty and the Freshness of life which they bring here.

Hope it will bring you a smile, seeing this fresh little lives.

Yes, quite paradoxical being at first, embodying both cuteness & ugliness.

Sort of like the story of the ugly duckling.

They will grow more feathers and increase their beauty.

Here is a pic with their mom. Perhaps they will turn out at least as their mom. Haha
