Hello everyone! I hope you're all well! Today I want to share with you a book I had the chance to read earlier this year and truly loved. It's "Once Upon a Broken Heart" by Stephanie Garber, which I had the opportunity to enjoy in PDF format thanks to my dear friend @aimara01. I hope you like it!

Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un libro que tuve la oportunidad de leer a principios de este año y que de verdad me encantó, se trata de "Érase una vez un Corazón Roto" de la autora Stephanie Garber, el cual tuve la oportunidad de disfrutar en formato PDF gracias a mi querida amiga @aimara01. Brief Synopsis | Breve Sinopsis
The book tells the story of Evangeline, a young woman who, after being disappointed in love because the man she loves is going to marry her stepsister, decides to go to Jack the "Prince of Hearts" who is an immortal associated with heartbreak but with other plans for her since he agrees to help her avoid the wedding but, in exchange for her agreeing to give three kisses and, this pact ends up being a dangerous game because it will lead her to happiness or misfortune.
El libro nos cuenta la historia de Evangeline, una joven que, tras una decepción amorosa porque el hombre que ama se va a casar con su hermanastra decide acudir a Jacks el "Príncipe de Corazones" el cual es un inmortal asociado al desamor pero, con otros planes para ella ya que accede a ayudarla a evitar la boda pero, a cambio de que ella acceda a dar tres besos y, este pacto termina siendo un juego peligroso ya que la llevará a la felicidad o a la desdicha.
My Opinion | Mi Opinión
This is the first book by Stephanie I've read, as she became known for her Caraval trilogy, but I haven't read it yet. Although this is a spin-off, you don't really need to read it to enjoy this one. It's a book with a pretty interesting story, and I really felt a little connected to Evangeline, its protagonist, because I know what it's like to have a broken heart and the disappointment of seeing the guy you love run off with someone else, so I can easily understand her.
Este es el primer libro de Stephanie que leo, ya que se hizo conocida por su trilogía Caraval pero que no he leído todavía y aunque este es un spin off, realmente no hace falta leerlo para poder disfrutar de este. Es un libro con una historia bastante interesante y realmente me sentí un poco identificada con Evangeline, su protagonista porque conozco lo que es tener el corazón roto y la decepción de ver al chico que uno ama irse con otra persona, por lo que también me es fácil entenderla.
The story is quite interesting and unpredictable which hooks you from the beginning, it is set in a fantasy world that in my opinion is very well developed and the characters are quite complex and also unpredictable, I really liked the attraction that is born between Jacks and Evangeline because just like her, sometimes we cling to someone who we believe is the right person when it is not like that, and on the path of healing to disappointment we can find the right person, Jacks also seemed to me to be a quite interesting and ambiguous character, I like the author's pen because the book was very easy to read and addictive.
La historia es bastante interesante e impredecible la cual engancha desde el principio, se sitúa en un mundo de fantasía que en mi opinión está muy bien desarrollado y los personajes son bastantes complejos y también impredecibles, me gustó mucho esa atracción que va naciendo entre Jacks y Evangeline ya que así como ella, a veces nos aferramos a alguien que creemos es la persona indicada cuando no es así, y en el camino de sanación a la desilusión podemos encontrarnos a la persona indicada, también Jacks me pareció un personaje bastante interesante y ambiguo, me gusta la pluma de la autora ya que el libro se me hizo muy fácil de leer y adictivo.
In conclusion, I really enjoyed this book and it left me wanting more (I hope to start the second book very soon). When I started reading it, I was really heartbroken, so it helped me feel better. It also left me very curious to read "Caraval," which I will do later. I would love to recommend this book to everyone, especially if you love romance, and it has been a great pleasure sharing it with you.
En conclusión, este libro me ha gustado mucho y me ha dejado con ganas de más (espero empezar el segundo libro muy pronto), cuando empecé a leerlo realmente me encontraba con el corazón roto por lo que me ayudó mucho a sentirme mejor, y también me ha dejado con mucha curiosidad por leer "Caraval" lo cual haré más adelante. Me encantaría recomendar este libro a todos, especialmente si aman la literatura romántica, y ha sido un gran placer compartirla con ustedes.
