I also think that sometimes this higher education is really not necessary. Especially in cases where people get all those degrees and can’t find jobs with them. This is awesome, Bro. I respect your decision and I like that too. This is also the decision I'm making about my educational pursuit.

I have a B.Sc in Banking and Finance and for what it's worth, that's where I'm ending everything about formal (classroom) education.

If I have money to get back to school, I would rather use that money to reinvest in the things I'm doing.

At this stage in my life, I'm more concerned about making more than getting more certification from any formal education.

I don't think your decision is bad because you have attain a good height in education already, it's important to look for means how to sustain life because it isn't all about education. I think your country also has something similar to mine, you don't get jobs by your level of education any longer and things are bit difficult. One needs to be strategic in his or her dealings in other to be able to survive the nature of the world right now... Absolutely true, education is indeed important for everyone to grow and you mentiond something in your write that I'm not surprised about, and that is the fact where you said, being so educated doesn't guarantee you to work for the government or have a huge paying job but rather our references.

This is very similar and exact to how it is in my country and in fact, it is even worse here if you're a master degree holder like you are in computer science.

I always thought this issue of knowing an influential person before getting a job in the government sector only happens in my country, never knew it goes beyond.

I have the same perspective as yours , though I have not done my masters yet but if I have the opportunity to do it in a conducive environment I might go for it. Not withstanding I still prefer business, it has always been my niche even before I acquired my diploma.

Corruption is everywhere and because of it, many qualified people are not getting that job in their desired field. That kind of thing is very harmful to a nation. You have done master's and I also think it's enough but it's not the end of learning.
