RE: 3D Printing Lessons Learned and Farm Upgrades

I've been thinking about potentially buying a new 3D printer, one that also comes with a dryer etc or maybe even multi filament dryer with auto switch and all that fancy jazz.

Been spending the last couple of days trying to get my dads old ender 5 pro running, figured out the firmware it was on was buggered, went back to the rubbish original firmware as a hailmary to make sure the machine wasn't mechanically busted.

It works now but still doesn't print properly, base adhesion issues, z offset issues among others, plus it's deathly slow giving it's just an old printer.

Makes getting a modern one just.. better if not to not have to deal with the headache of calibrating and sorting out the one we have atm.

Bambu Lab have some deals on their systems. I am tempted by their AMS (multi-reel unit with dryer), but I may wait a bit. I am impressed with the A1 printer I bought.
