My Second Crochet Project: a Smartphone Pouch with 5 Colors

Hello, Hive friends!

I created another crochet project to remind myself of what I have learned over the past few years.

I don't want to crochet a complicated project, but I want it to be useful and practical.

I was gifted a green chain for my phone, so I was thinking about a cell phone or Smartphone Pouch.

Simple Steps for a Smartphone Pouch

Step 1: 23 Chains or depends on your phone

It depends on the size of your phone so I think I created simple 23 chains on the bottom base of my phone.

Step 2: Double crochet

Double crochet as the bottom based, I am using the red yarn.

Step 3: Continue the double crochet, layer it with different colors until satisfied with the height of your phone.

Step 4: Crocheted Heart as the lock

I found a tutorial on how to create a heart. It was simple and quick. There are many quick tutorials on YouTube.

Step 5: Create a cover to seal the pouch

It's like I did a half circle for the phone pouch cover. Wait, as of this writing, I forgot how I did it. I am kinda having a brain fog how I did it. Hahaha!

It is really good to do this kind of hobby. I love grandma hobbies. It really helps my brain to be active as a Stay-at-Home Mama. Somehow, you gonna show to your kids that you have this wonderful talent.

My next project is I want to do amigurumi for my kids and we can use it as a gift-giving to the friends of my kids.
