Cheer me up, Buttercup! My Fitness Journal # 01
Hi, Hive friends! I am officially back, and I am now inspired to update here.

My Daily Walk Log on Paper
But life got so busy, I wasn't able to update my Strava and my alternate account @itravelrox22 which it is needed to do a daily update. I can't keep up as I am busy with the kids and house chores.
Sharing my Struggles in January 2025
I had many personal issues in November 2024, which is why I published these articles in January 2025. I wasn't able to continue writing as I was busy writing in different communities.
My Fitness Journey Restarted on October 22, 2025
From now on, I need to get serious about my Fitness Journey. I created an album on Facebook that is called "Cheer me up, Buttercup!"
I posted screenshots of my Huawei Health updates, old photos and current photos for comparison, some OOTD updates and what I eat in a day. I posted photos only set to friends, not for public consumption even though I am tempted to monetize it for public views. I decided not to. I am not the type of content creator who loves posting videos and reels; I prefer to write and publish them as a blog.
Initial Weight - 56.2 kg
On October 22, 2025, I started at 12 MN to write and monitor everything in my journal.
I started a 15-minute Walk by Walk At Home on YouTube.
I grabbed the weighing scale and my initial weight was at 56.2 kg.
I measured my waistline near my belly button and it measured 34 inches.
Damn, my waistline measured at 23.5 inches when I was young, before having kids.
In the afternoon, at 3:15 PM, I did the 30-minute Walk At Home YouTube video.
Now and then, I had to stop to do some house chores.
At 5 PM, I just did a random untimed Walk At Home session while turning on a French lesson video for me to listen to while walking.
I reached 11,000 Steps for the day.
In total, I did 8.77 Kilometers of Indoor walking.
I am more committed to update: My Daily Walk Log on Paper
Before I updated my Huawei Health app on my mobile, I realized that I am more inspired to update and have more commitment to do My Walk At Home Exercise if I write everything on paper. It is easy to compare notes of the things I did every day and to follow what I did in the past few days.
I am on my 12 Days of Exercise
As of November 3, 2025 - it's my 12th day of exercise.
In those days, I took a rest day it's either we spent the day with the kids or I just removed my watch and stayed relaxed for the whole day.
I can tell you that I really made quick progress, and I am excited to share some photos with you in my next update.
Walk At Home YouTube video I follow
When I started on October 22, I followed this YouTube channel: Walk At Home by Leslie Sansone. Just this video, as I was on physical recovery. I got an injury, so I prefer to walk and not hold any dumbbells.
There are many timed workouts on this channel. There is a 10-minute Walk, a 12-minute Walk, and a 15-minute Walk or maybe an hour of Workout. It was also led by different people or a Walk Leader in other videos.
I don't feel so alone doing these workouts as Leslie Sansone had some company behind her. I felt like I was part of the group while doing the workout.
Looking for accountability partners?
If you want to be friends with me or follow my fitness journey, please feel free to drop some comments here. The reason I posted this on FB is to find mama friends who have the same problem as me.
Now my kids are 5 and 4 years old, so I have the time to do my exercise while doing house chores.
Yes, finally! I am so happy.
More updates in the next blog.
Ciao!
I also tend to keep track of some things, so I like how your notebook looks; it's organized. Good luck with the exercise! I hope you achieve all your goals!
Thank you. I really want to be consistent. :)
