A Beautiful Glamping Experience of a Resort in Badian, Cebu
Hi, Hive friends!
I found many old photos on my iPad, and I found these glamping photos with volunteering friends. This was at Terra Manna Beach Resort. Unfortunately, the place is already permanently closed. The property was sold and got a new owner 5 years ago.
Anyway, let me share to you some photos of my experiences here. Many times I have mentioned that during my work-from-home moments, I joined volunteering work in my spare time, especially during the weekends.
We invited many eco-warriors around the Philippines and some other parts of the world to have a talk/workshop about Let's Do It Clean-Up.
One of our members was able to find a place for us to hold a workshop. She knew the previous owner of Terra Manna.
The place was nice. We had a good sleep in our tent. The resort had a good ambiance. Good for couples who want to do a romantic and peaceful getaway. It is also good for families.
We had the chance that the place was exclusively booked for us.
To go to Badian, we took a bus from the South Bus Terminal in Cebu City.
If you want to understand what Let's Do It is doing, here is an explanation from Wikipedia:
Let's Do It World is a global civic organization that started from Estonia, mobilizing people worldwide in joining local, national and regional clean-up events. Among other projects, it is the founder of World Cleanup Day, on which a network of 180 countries, with over 21.2 million participants took place in 2019.[2] First time in 2024 World Cleanup Day mobilises millions in its first year as a UN International Day.[3][4]
The Let's Do It! organization was first conceived in Estonia in 2008, where a country clean-up action called Let's do it! (in Estonian: "Teeme ära!") cleaned up 10000 tons of illegal waste by more than 50000 volunteers in one day. Following Estonia's lead, many countries also started their own country clean-up events.[5][6]

The founders from Estonia also joined us in our previous workshop in San Remigio, Cebu. We did a clean-up at Kawasan Falls and we saw many trash, so sad.
I am not sure of the new owners, if this resort is open, or if there are still ongoing works.
Many Cebuanos already visited this place and enjoyed freediving as there is a coral reef near Terra Manna.
Anyway, I was fortunate to visit this place without paying that much.
I hope this resort will open under a brand new name or company. The potential of this place is just a waste if this remains closed.

You're right, the view from the resort is breathtaking closing it is such a waste, the place is so beautiful.
That's a nice place to visit. If one is into camping, this is perfect. Nice view, fresh air, green surroundings, what more can you ask for?
