La psicología humana ronda en este anime, podemos ver como el padre del protagonista masculino Shinji Ikari no se preocupa de su hijo y lo ve y toma como mera herramienta, como si su nacimiento hubiese sido solo para ser un piloto de alguna unidad Eva.
Del mismo modo podemos observar y analizar la soledad y ansiedad de cada personaje, cada uno de ellos guarda dolores internos los cuales en momentos de crisis explotan sacando lo peor de ellos y en algunos casos suprimiendo su voluntad y deseo de vivir.

Human psychology is a recurring theme in this anime. We see how the father of the male protagonist, Shinji Ikari, does not care about his son and views him as a mere tool, as if he had been born solely to be a pilot of an Eva unit.
Similarly, we can observe and analyze the loneliness and anxiety of each character. Each of them harbors internal pain that explodes in moments of crisis, bringing out the worst in them and, in some cases, suppressing their will and desire to live.

Recuerdo que cuando vi Neón Génesis Evangelion quedaba con más interrogantes qué respuestas y a modo de analizar más, grababa cada episodio en VHS, así las podía ver los fin de semanas y volver a disfrutar o ver algo que se me pasaba por alto.

De igual modo nos entrega a un Shinji Ikari aún más temeroso y culposo de sus actos, además de la notoria dependencia que siente hacia Asuka Langley por quien pareciera tener otro tipo de interés.

The End of Evangelion narrates what happens after the Third Impact. The film shows us the connection between Rei Ayanami and the Angels, as well as Lilith herself.
It also presents us with a Shinji Ikari who is even more fearful and guilty of his actions, as well as his obvious dependence on Asuka Langley, for whom he seems to have a different kind of interest.

Batallas y miedos es lo que más se refleja y podemos sentir cada una de estas sensaciones.
Con un final que nos saca bastante de lo que podríamos esperar. Encontrarnos a un Shinji descontrolado observando la destrucción total, una Asuka tendida en la arena de una playa, mientras el mismo Shinji tratando de asfixiarla perdido en la oscuridad de su mente y Asuka, acariciando su mejilla tratando de demostrarle que no está solo.

Battles and fears are what are most reflected, and we can feel each of these sensations.
With an ending that takes us far beyond what we might expect. We find Shinji out of control, observing total destruction, Asuka lying on the sand of a beach, while Shinji himself tries to suffocate her, lost in the darkness of his mind, and Asuka, caressing his cheek, trying to show him that he is not alone.

Sin duda, un final que nos deja con nuevas dudas existenciales, sobre las relaciones interpersonales, amorosas, de amistad, salud mental, creencias religiosas y políticas. Aunque, no llegan al alcance de generar un debate ante estos puntos antes mencionados, si podríamos debatir en cómo nos hicieron sentir los personajes y sus historias.

Without a doubt, this ending leaves us with new existential questions about interpersonal relationships, love, friendship, mental health, religious beliefs, and politics. Although it does not go so far as to generate a debate on the aforementioned points, we could discuss how the characters and their stories made us feel.
