Thanking for a very special day.

Hello my dear friends. The @dailyblog community gives us the opportunity to share special days like this one with you. Thank you @lauramica for creating this space for everyone.

First, I want to put you in context: I have two grandchildren who were born in Colombia due to migration we had to undergo due to problems beyond our control. I thank my God for the lives of these two beautiful little ones.

A couple of months ago, they returned to Venezuela to stay. Praise God for the joy of having my five grandchildren together. For now, they're at my house while they settle into something permanent. I have to help the family in any way I can, and I've been missing them a lot, so I'm happy to have them for an extended visit.

Birthdays and Anniversaries at Hive:

Last July 7th was my birthday, another year that God has given me the opportunity to live with my family. July 8th (the day after) is my anniversary on this beautiful platform. I've been enjoying sharing with my distant, yet close-to-heart friends for eight years. I've learned a lot on this platform, where people don't know each other but share their love with everyone in this ecosystem. May there be many more, both in life and sharing on @hive.

My daughters made a lasagna with salad that was delicious. The most important thing here is sharing as a family, something I learned well from my mom.

My children's gift: a desktop computer, which has made me excited to write and resume my publishing (something I've missed doing so much).

Now to sing Happy Birthday, a song that sounded like a heavenly melody in the voices of my grandchildren, all happy because they blew out the candle with me.

And the most delicious moment of the day was tasting the food prepared for me by everyone who was able to attend my birthday party. I thank God for everything in my life.

Every day has special moments, but today was extraordinary, with many new things that, with God's favor, will continue to be so. Thank you all so much.
