Flowers in a Snowy Garden | Phone Photography Contest - #81
Hello, friends!
Unexpectedly and very prematurely, the first snow fell in our region on October 6th.
When we arrived in the village in the morning, the entire garden was covered in snow, except for a bush of Chinese aster. The dark red flowers, in my opinion, looked very interesting against the snowy backdrop.
The first snow usually doesn't last long; the ground is still warm and the sun is still strong enough, so the snow melts within a few hours. In this photo, the garden is slowly clearing itself of snow. By the afternoon, there was no longer any sign of the morning snowfall.
The Chinese aster bush survived the first snowfall quite well; in this photo taken the next day, the flowers are enjoying the sunny day. But alas, every day brings us closer to winter, and soon real snow will fall, and the Chinese aster will wither and remain dormant until spring.
