According to Khakass beliefs, this is the head of the spirit of Mount Kyun-tag | PhotoFeed Contest - Landscape Photography Round 117
Hello, friends.
When climbing Mount Kunya, I always deviate from the main route to go to the cliff above the Yenisei. There, a small part of the main cliff broke off and is supported by two stones.
The ancestors of the Khakass people professed shamanism. The whole world, according to their ideas, was inhabited by spirits that could get angry at some actions of a person and harm him, and if you manage to negotiate with the spirits, then the spirits could help a person. According to ancient Khakass beliefs, this stone is the head of the spirit of Mount Kun-tag.
But hundreds of years before the ancestors of the modern Khakass settled in these parts, this place was apparently sacred. This is evidenced by drawings carved into the surface of the rock several thousand years ago.
