It's turning out to be another busy day. I spent the morning getting caught up on emails and paying bills (yuck), but also had errands to do outside. I visited the bank, the PO box, got some lunch and stopped at a thrift store.

I found a very nice button-down shirt. If it looks a bit wrinkly, it is. It's "washable linen" a very nice fabric that is very special to find a good price. And this is why I thrift. Not because I'm cheap. It's because I try not to spend money I don't have to.

And still enjoy nice things.

All it takes is a little extra effort and we can enjoy nice things and still afford to pay the bills.
