Saludos querida comunidad de las manualidades, ya comenzó octubre hace un rato y no había podido hacer mis creaciones con temática de Halloween, este es mi mes favorito para crear porque hay muchas cosas que siempre tengo en mente para poner en practica con mis hilos, en esta ocasión comparto con ustedes un tutorial para realizar un collar de Sally, la amada compañera de Jack Skellington de la película Pesadilla antes de navidad, espero les guste y si es así me comprometo a compartir a un collar de Jack en la próxima publicación 😊

Greetings dear craft community, October started a while ago and I hadn't been able to make my Halloween-themed creations, this is my favorite month to create because there are many things that I always have in mind to put into practice with my threads, this time I share with you a tutorial to make a Sally necklace, Jack Skellington's beloved companion from the movie The Nightmare Before Christmas, I hope you like it and if so, I promise to share a Jack necklace in the next post 😊

Materiales / Materials

• Hilo acrílico para crochet: negro, blanco, rojo, azul claro, morado, rosado y amarillo.
• Cordón (yute, cuero sintético, piel de serpiente o hilo chino)
• Dos pinzas para ropa
• Regla
• Tijera
• Tabla
• Patrón

• Acrylic crochet yarn: black, white, red, light blue, purple, pink, and yellow.
• Cord (jute, leatherette, snakeskin, or Chinese knotting thread)
• Two clothespins
• Ruler
• Scissors
• Board
• Pattern

Proceso / Process

Para dibujar este patrón use la aplicación Pixel Station, con un lienzo de 21 cuadros en horizontal y 24 cuadros en vertical, esto indica el número de hilos guía necesarios y el numero de hileras de nudos correspondientes para este diseño, con la herramienta pincel pinté cuadro por cuadro la figura y con la herramienta bote de pintura pinté las áreas grandes del dibujo, luego edite la imagen en la aplicación Inshot para agregar los números.

To draw this pattern I used the Pixel Station app, with a canvas of 21 squares horizontally and 24 squares vertically, this indicates the number of guide threads needed and the number of rows of corresponding knots for this design, with the brush tool I painted the figure frame by frame and with the paint bucket tool I painted the large areas of the drawing, then I edited the image in the Inshot app to add the numbers.

Para empezar el trabajo primero se hace el collar con el cordón, yo corté 70 cm de cordón, luego en cada punta hice un nudos corredizo que envolviera el extremo opuesto del cordón, de este modo el collar se puede expandir para poder pasar por la cabeza y luego reducir para adaptar al cuello del largo que mas le guste a la persona, si el cordón utilizado es sintético se puede quemar las puntas sobrantes de los nudos para más seguridad.

To begin the work, first the necklace is made with the cord, I cut 70 cm of cord, then at each end I made a sliding knot that wrapped the opposite end of the cord, in this way the necklace can be expanded to be able to pass over the head and then reduced to adapt to the neck of the length that the person likes the most, if the cord used is synthetic you can burn the excess ends of the knots for more security.

Con el hilo negro cortar 10 hebras de 30 cm y una hebra más unida al ovillo, colocar el collar envolviendo la tabla, anudar los hilos por la mitad en el centro del collar, dejando de primer lugar a la izquierda la hebra que está unida al ovillo, de ese modo quedan listos los 21 hilos guía mas el hilo anudador negro, asegura con las pinzas para ropa para que no se mueva el collar de la tabla.

With the black thread cut 10 strands of 30 cm and one more strand attached to the ball, place the necklace wrapping the board, knot the threads in the middle in the center of the necklace, leaving first on the left the thread that is attached to the ball, in this way the 21 guide threads are ready plus the black knotting thread, secure with the clothespins so that the necklace does not move from the board.

Agregar el hilo amarillo y el hilo rosado para la primera hilera de nudos, en esta técnica el hilo anudador envuelve dos veces cada uno de los hilos guía de izquierda a derecha en las hileras de numero impar y de derecha a izquierda en las hileras pares, para cambiar el color del hilo anudador se debe cruzar la hebras por detrás, se deben seguir los cambios de color correspondientes según el patrón o gráfico, puesto que cada cuadro representa un nudo, los demás hilos anudadores se van agregando según corresponda.

Add the yellow thread and the pink thread for the first row of knots, in this technique the knotting thread wraps twice each of the guide threads from left to right in the odd number rows and from right to left in the even rows, to change the color of the knotting thread you must cross the strands behind, you must follow the corresponding color changes according to the pattern or graph, since each square represents a knot, the other knotting threads are added as appropriate.

Al finalizar la hilera 24 se deben separar los hilos guía en cuatro partes, luego hacer 4 nudos, cortar las hebras para formar flecos, por último cortar y esconder los hilos anudadores por detrás.

At the end of row 24, separate the guide threads into four parts, then tie 4 knots, cut the strands to form fringes, and finally cut and hide the knotting threads behind.
