Ordenando patrones hechos por mi hijo

Saludos querida comunidad, como muchos ya saben mi hijo aprendió a hacer crochet y también macramé, para el macramé el empezó a hacer lo patrones en un viejo cuaderno cuadriculado que el usaba para sus operaciones matemáticas y otros ejercicios de atención, con la de que fuese de manera provisional por así decirlo, pero a medida que el fue avanzando e interesándose cada vez mas en dibujar y tejer patrones más complejos, el cuaderno se quedó sin hojas libres, además que los patrones estaban dispersos por todo el cuaderno porque tenía aprovecha los pequeños espacios libres en las hojas, así que decidí comprar para él un cuaderno nuevo donde Rafael pudiera además de dibujar nuevos patrones pudiera pegar de manera ordenada los que ya había realizado previamente, convirtiéndolo en un catalogo o portafolio de sus trabajos.

Greetings dear community, as many of you already know my son learned to crochet and also macramé, at first for macramé he began to make the patterns in an old gridded notebook that he used for his math operations and other attention exercises, with the idea that it was provisional so to speak, but as he progressed and became more and more interested in drawing and weaving more complex patterns, the notebook ran out of free pages, plus the patterns were scattered throughout the notebook because he had to take advantage of the small free spaces on the pages, so I decided to buy him a new notebook where Rafael could, in addition to drawing new patterns, be able to paste in an orderly manner the ones he had previously made, turning it into a catalog or portfolio of his work.

Pasamos un buen rato de la mañana de ayer en esta tarea, yo me encargué de cortar las hojas del cuaderno viejo para evitar accidentes, es decir, que las retiré con cuidado usando un cúter para evitar que se rompieran, luego Rafael procedió con una tijera recortando los bordes de los patrones, después los organizamos y decidimos el orden en que los íbamos a pegar en el nuevo cuaderno, posteriormente Rafael pegó cada uno en las hojas y yo solo le ayudé a que quedaran alineados. Al finalizar Rafael ya le dolía la mano de cortar con al tijera, pero realmente estamos muy felices con el resultado, nos pareció que habían más patrones de lo que imaginábamos, fueron un total de 22 patrones que por supuesto además del dibujo ya han sido materializados con hilo gracias a las manitos de Rafael.

We spent a good part of yesterday morning on this task, I was in charge of cutting the pages of the old notebook to avoid accidents, that is, I carefully removed them using a box cutter to prevent them from breaking, then Rafael proceeded with scissors cutting the edges of the patterns, then we organized them and decided the order in which we were going to paste them in the new notebook, later Rafael glued each one on the pages and I just helped him line them up. By the end Rafael's hand was already hurting from cutting with the scissors, but we are really happy with the result, it seemed to us that there were more patterns than we imagined, there were a total of 22 patterns that of course, in addition to the drawing, have already been materialized with thread thanks to Rafael's little hands.

Les digo con toda sinceridad que en casi 25 años que tengo tejiendo nunca he organizado un cuaderno de patrones, casi siempre los escribo o dibujo en hojas de reciclaje que voy metiendo en carpetas que pierden su organización conforme los trabajos se van acumulando, desde que empecé en Hive muchos de estos los escribo directamente en la computadora guiándome por esas hojas, pero a mi hijo deseo enseñarle a hacer las cosas de mejor manera, por eso me entusiasmó mucho la idea de que a tan corta edad él ya tenga su cuaderno de patrones 😊

I tell you with all sincerity that in almost 25 years that I have been knitting I have never organized a pattern notebook, I almost always write or draw them on recycled sheets that I put in folders that lose their organization as the work accumulates, since I started in Hive I write many of these directly on the computer guided by those sheets, but I want to teach my son to do things in a better way, that is why I was very excited by the idea that at such a young age he already has his pattern notebook 😊
