Saludos a todos en la comunidad Hive DIY, ya es la última semana de clases en mi hijo en la escuela por este año escolar, como parte de su proyecto final la maestra nos pidió una maleta como material de apoyo para la exposición, debido a que el proyecto se trata de un recorrido o viaje por así decirlo a las 17 parroquias que constituyen el municipio Torres, en Lara, a cada niño le correspondió una parroquia, hacer esta maleta me pareció muy entretenido y además es una manera diferente de motivar a los niños en su exposición, así que hoy les comparto como hice la maleta esperando que sea de utilidad para todo aquel que desee hacer un material didáctico como este ☺️

Greetings to everyone in the Hive DIY community, it is my son's last week of classes at school for this school year, as part of his final project the teacher asked us for a suitcase as support material for the exhibition, because The project is about a tour or trip so to speak to the 17 parishes that make up the Torres municipality, in Lara, each child was assigned a parish, making this suitcase seemed very entertaining to me and it is also a different way of motivating the children. children at their exhibition, so today I share with you how I packed the suitcase hoping that it will be useful for anyone who wants to make teaching material like this ☺️

• Una caja grande de cartón
• Pega blanca
• Silicón líquido
• Papel de reciclaje
• Pincel plano, pincel redondo y pincel delineador.
• Tijera
• Regla
• Lápiz
• Pinturas al frío: blanco, negro, marrón, amarillo, azul y rojo.
• Foami
• Velcro
• Imágenes impresas en papel

Proceso / Process

Las medidas para cortar el cartón es de 80 cm de ancho por 1 metro de alto, el alto se va a doblar en dos partes de 44cm y una de 12cm esta última servirá para cerrar la maleta.

The measurements to cut the cardboard are 80 cm wide by 1 meter high, the height will be folded into two parts of 44cm and one of 12cm, the latter used to close the suitcase.

Con el papel de reciclaje corta tiras de 5cm de ancho, con pega blanca adherir las tiras por todos los bordes del cartón de este modo las terminaciones quedan prolijas.

With the recycling paper, cut 5cm wide strips, with white glue adhere the strips to all the edges of the cardboard so that the ends are neat.

Para el asa de la maleta en cartón medir un rectángulo de 20cm x 18 cm, luego trazar una línea interna a una distancia de 4 cm, recodar las esquinas y cortar. Con papel de reciclaje y pega forrar los bordes. Con silicón pegar el asa arriba y al centro.

For the cardboard suitcase handle, measure a 20cm x 18cm rectangle, then draw an internal line at a distance of 4cm, round off the corners and cut. Cover the edges with recycling paper and glue. With silicone, glue the handle at the top and in the center.

En la parte interna de la maleta pintar las letras con la información correspondiente al tema y pegar las imágenes, para las letras usar un pincel redondo y un pincel delineador para hacer las sombras y brillo.

On the inside of the suitcase, paint the letters with the information corresponding to the theme and paste the images. For the letters, use a round brush and an eyeliner brush to make the shadows and brightness.

En la parte exterior y frontal de la maleta hice un dibujo usando un imagen de referencia, como el proyecto trata de viajar por el municipio dibujé un autobús escolar con el nombre del municipio, dibuje con lápiz el boceto, luego apliqué una capa de pintura blanca, remarque el boceto nuevamente y procedí a pintar la figura, como último paso use el pincel delineador para todos los bordes de las figuras.

On the outside and front of the suitcase I made a drawing using a reference image, as the project is about traveling through the municipality I drew a school bus with the name of the municipality, I drew the sketch with a pencil, then I applied a layer of white paint , I highlighted the sketch again and proceeded to paint the figure, as a last step I used the liner brush for all the edges of the figures.

Pinté la maleta de color marrón con los bordes azules, luego corté dos tiras de foami de 7 X 13 cm, las pinté de azul y pegué un lado del velcro en la parte interna, luego con silicón pegué el foami a 9 cm de distancia del borde de la maleta y pegué la otra parte del velcro en la parte frontal, de este modo se puede cerrar y abrir la maleta para ver la información.

I painted the suitcase brown with blue edges, then I cut two strips of foam measuring 7 edge of the suitcase and I glued the other part of the velcro to the front, this way you can close and open the suitcase to see the information.
