Lo mejor de la semana

Hay semanas de nuestra vida que parecen insignificantes, son tan parecidas a otras que no notamos que haya algo memorable, sin embargo, la Iniciativa Letras inspiradoras de @syllem nos invita a compartir lo mejor de nuestra semana y da la casualidad que esta semana si pasó algo que me hizo sentir muy bien y lo compartiré con ustedes. Pero antes de comenzar me gustaría invitar a participar a @yetsimar y @chacald.dcymt

There are weeks in our lives that seem insignificant, they are so similar to others that we don't notice anything memorable, however, the Inspiring Letters Initiative by @syllem invites us to share the best of our week and it just so happens that this week something did happen that made me feel really good and I will share it with you. But before I begin, I would like to invite @yetsimar and @chacald.dcymt to participate.

Seguramente muchas de ustedes se identificaran con el hecho de haber postergado algo a simple vista sencillo pero que debido a muchas inconvenientes no se pudo hacer en su momento, en mi caso esto sucedió con la reparación del refrigerador, el cual es muy viejo pero funciona bien a excepción de la goma o empacadura imantada que recorre todo el borde de las puertas, pero sucede que en mi ciudad no había tiendas especializadas en vender este tipo de repuesto antes, de he hecho había un solo un sitio conocido en el cual no nos atendieron bien, además nos pedían una muestra la cual no podíamos tomar del refrigerador porque obviamente estaba en uso y no nos dieron más alternativas.

Surely many of you will identify with the fact of having postponed something that at first glance was simple but due to many inconveniences it could not be done at the time, in my case this happened with the repair of the refrigerator, which is very old but works well except for the rubber or magnetic gasket that runs along the entire edge of the doors, but it happens that in my city there were no stores specialized in selling this type of spare part before, in fact there was only one known place where they did not serve us well, in addition they asked us for a sample which we could not take from the refrigerator because obviously it was in use and they did not give us more alternatives.

Sin embargo, pasó una casualidad de esas que pareciera ser un pequeño regalo del mundo, mirando los estados de Whatsapp mi mamá supo que abrieron una nueva tienda especializada en equipos de refrigeración, ella escribió por ese medio y la atendieron muy bien y hasta le pdiieron fotos de refrigerador para asegurar que tenían ese tipo de producto, al día siguiente fuimos y compramos la empacadura la cual vendían por metro, de verdad estoy muy agradecida porque pude contar con los medios necesarios para adquirir dicho repuesto.

However, a coincidence happened, one of those things that seemed like a small gift from the world. Looking at my mom's WhatsApp statuses, she found out that a new store specializing in refrigeration equipment had opened. She wrote through them and they treated her very well, even asking for photos of the refrigerator to ensure they had that type of product. The next day we went and bought the gasket, which they sold by the meter. I am truly grateful because I was able to afford the necessary means to acquire said spare part.

No obstante no conocíamos a nadie quien pudiera hacer el trabajo, pero luego una tía nos dio el numero de un señor quien vino a casa y en poco tiempo retiró la empacadura vieja, cortó y atornillo toda la nueva y las puertas del refrigerador quedaron cerrando muy bien, finalmente pudimos logar hacer esa mejora que por más simple que fuese parecía estar destinada a la postergación 😊, por eso aunque fue una semana de mucho gasto porque todo salió el 60 dólares, debo decir que también fue algo que nos alivió bastante, porque ahora la nevera cierra bien entonces y de ese modo puede enfriar mejor y conservar en buen estado los alimentos.

However, we didn't know anyone who could do the job, but then an aunt gave us the number of a man who came to the house and in a short time removed the old gasket, cut and screwed on the new one and the refrigerator doors closed very well, we were finally able to make that improvement that, no matter how simple it was, seemed destined to be postponed 😊, so although it was a week of great expense because everything cost 60 dollars, I must say that it was also something that relieved us a lot, because now the refrigerator closes well then and that way it can cool better and keep the food in good condition.

Es un logro domestico que quizá no tenga nada de espectacular, pero me estaba molestando desde hace mucho el no poder solucionar ese problema con el refrigerador, así que esta semana sin duda trajo sus cosas positivas estoy segura que recordaré por mucho tiempo la semana en que pudimos resolver.

It's a domestic achievement that may not be anything spectacular, but I've been bothered for a long time by not being able to solve that problem with the refrigerator, so this week certainly had its positive aspects. I'm sure I'll remember for a long time the week in which we were able to solve it.
