Linda y su tía

Por mucho que ha intentado mi hermana ganarse el corazón de mi gatita Linda, esto no ha sido fácil, desde que adoptamos a Linda mi hermana intentaba cargarla pero era imposible, Linda la mordía para que la soltara, ella es muy sensible a los ruidos y mi hermana llegaba en carro así que inmediatamente al sentir el ruido buscaba refugiarse debajo de la cama, al entrar mi hermana intentaba acariciar a Linda pero ella no lo permitía, era temerosa e incluso a veces reaccionaba de forma un poco violenta pero no en exceso, ella solo quería que mi hermana no la tocara.

As much as my sister has tried to win the heart of my kitten Linda, this has not been easy. Ever since we adopted Linda, my sister tried to pick her up but it was impossible. Linda would bite her to make her let go. She is very sensitive to noises and my sister would arrive in a car so immediately upon hearing the noise she would look for refuge under the bed. When my sister came in, she would try to pet Linda but she wouldn’t allow it. She was fearful and sometimes even reacted a little violently but not excessively. She just wanted my sister not to touch her.

Con el paso del tiempo Linda ha permitido que mi hermana la cargue, sin embargo ella la observa con cara de disgusto, pero no la muerde, creo que poco a poco se ha ido adaptando a las visitas de mi hermana y ha entendido que es un miembro más de la familia, aunque su cara sigue siendo de desprecio 😅

Over time, Linda has allowed my sister to carry her, however, she looks at her with a disgusted face, but does not bite her, I think that little by little she has adapted to my sister’s visits and has understood that she is another member of the family, although her face is still one of contempt 😅

Linda es una gata arisca por naturaleza, es su forma de ser, pero conmigo es diferente, creo que esto se debe a que yo respeto su espacio, no la molesto para nada y espero siempre que ella se acerque primero, la sensación de felicidad que siento cuando Linda quiere mis caricias es inigualable porque se que ella no es una gata que acepte las caricias de todos, sin embargo, aplaudo que mi hermana no se haya rendido con Linda y ahora pueda tomarla en sus brazos.

Linda is a naturally unsociable cat, it’s her way of being, but with me it’s different. I think this is because I respect her space, I don’t bother her at all and I always wait for her to approach me first. The feeling of happiness I feel when Linda wants my caresses is unmatched because I know she’s not a cat that accepts everyone’s caresses. However, I applaud the fact that my sister hasn’t given up on Linda and can now take her in her arms.

Al ver que mi hermana siente mucho cariño por Linda le he tratado de convencer de adoptar un gato, pero ella tiene tres perros a los que no le gustan los gatos, es triste que ella no pueda tener un miembro gatuno en su familia pero es una situación comprensible, pues no se puede exponer una gatito a una situación de riesgo con perros que no están acostumbrados a la convivencia con gatos, espero que en algún momento exista la posibilidad de que su deseo de tener un gato se cumpla sin ningún problema.

Seeing that my sister feels a lot of affection for Linda, I have tried to convince her to adopt a cat, but she has three dogs that do not like cats. It is sad that she cannot have a feline member in her family, but it is an understandable situation, since you cannot expose a kitten to a risky situation with dogs that are not used to living with cats. I hope that at some point there is a possibility that her wish to have a cat will be fulfilled without any problem.
