Frase de canción que me motiva

Hay una canción de David Bowie que mueve demasiadas emociones en mi, toda la letra es desgarradora y esperanzadora al mismo tiempo pero esta tan bien hecha que te va conduciendo con sus palabras a un estado en el cual al pronunciar una frase definitiva te da electricidad en el alma, si la frase se dijera de buenas a primeras creo que no causaría ningún efecto, pero por eso mismo la canción te da todo el contexto antes de pronunciarla, la canción se llama Rock & Roll Suicide y esta narrada desde un punto de vista de un observador por así decirlo, en tercera persona, pero uno se identifica con la primera persona.

There’s a song by David Bowie that moves too many emotions in me, all the lyrics are heartbreaking and hopeful at the same time but it’s so well done that it leads you with its words to a state in which when you pronounce a definitive phrase it gives you electricity in the soul, if the phrase were said right off the bat I don’t think it would have any effect, but for that very reason the song gives you the whole context before saying it, the song is called Rock & Roll Suicide and it’s narrated from the point of view of an observer so to speak, in the third person, but one identifies with the first person.

A mi particularmente me afecta mucho, interpreto la letra de la canción como una persona siente la desesperanza del pasar del tiempo, como sus acciones no han conducido a un fin y que se siente viejo para abandonarlo todo pero muy joven para tomar elecciones de un su vida, como la misma persona no se ve a si misma con ojos objetivos sino que se juzga y por eso intenta evadir la realidad con cosas que no le hacen bien, pero en definitiva se siente como que si sus pensamientos cortaran su mente como cuchillos, en medio de todo ese nivel de desesperanza una voz le dice que no está solo you’re no alone”, el cantante se muestra como una persona empática con el sujeto que ha vivido cosas dolorosas al igual que el, dando de cierta forma a entender que la canción trata del mismo Bowie pero al mismo tiempo trata de todas esas personas que pasan por la misma situación.

It affects me a lot, I interpret the lyrics of the song as a person feeling the hopelessness of the passing of time, how his actions have not led to an end and that he feels old to give up everything but too young to make choices in his life, how the same person does not see himself with objective eyes but judges himself and that is why he tries to evade reality with things that do not do him any good, but ultimately it feels as if his thoughts cut his mind like knives, in the midst of all that level of hopelessness a voice tells him that he is not alone “you’re not alone”, the singer shows himself as an empathetic person with the subject who has lived painful things like him, giving in a certain way to understand that the song is about Bowie himself but at the same time it is about all those people who go through the same situation.

El cantante afirma que la persona no está sola y que el ha tenido su propia dosis de dolor y por lo tanto puede ayudar al otro con el dolor. Es una letra que me hace llorar a menudo pero que sin duda me da muchos ánimos, me hace pensar que no todo el que sufre esta solo incluso cuando muera solo. Quizá parezca todo lo contrario pero es una canción muy positiva y por eso espero que quien me lea tenga la oportunidad de escucharla y leer su letra 🥰

The singer claims that the person is not alone and that he has had his own share of pain and therefore can help the other with the pain. It is a lyric that makes me cry often but that certainly gives me a lot of encouragement, it makes me think that not everyone who suffers is alone even when they die alone. It may seem like the opposite but it is a very positive song and that is why I hope that whoever reads it has the opportunity to listen to it and read its lyrics 🥰
