Saludos a todos en la comunidad Hive DIY, feliz inicio de semana, hoy comparto con ustedes un proyecto que llena de emoción por lo mucho que me gusta el personaje, se trata de un colgante de pared hecho en la técnica de macramé con la figura de Elías Ainsworth el cual es el personaje principal del anime “La esposa del mago antiguo” (Mahoutsukai no Yome), este personaje me encanta por ser muy poderoso pero también tener unos modales muy refinados y siempre darlo todo por proteger a su amada Chise. Por acá les comparto el proceso para su creación 🥰

Greetings to everyone in the Hive DIY community, happy start of the week, today I share with you a project that fills me with excitement because of how much I like the character, it is a wall hanging made in the macramé technique with the figure of Elias Ainsworth which is the main character of the anime “The Ancient Magician’s Wife” (Mahoutsukai no Yome), I love this character for being very powerful but also having very refined manners and always giving his all to protect his beloved Chise. Here I share with you the process for its creation 🥰

Materiales / Materials

• Hilo acrílico para crochet de 1mm de espesor: negro, blanco, gris, marrón oscuro, marrón claro, beige, rojo, vinotinto, verde oscuro, verde claro, amarillo, ocre, morado oscuro, morado claro.
• Palito de plástico
• Tabla
• Tijera
• Regla
• 2 pinzas para ropa
• Patrón

• 1mm thick acrylic crochet yarn: black, white, grey, dark brown, light brown, beige, red, burgundy, dark green, light green, yellow, ochre, dark purple, light purple.
• Plastic stick
• Board
• Scissors
• Ruler
• 2 clothespins

Este patrón lo encontré en gratuito en la web, el mismo consta de 39 cuadros en horizontal lo cual significa que se necesitan 39 hilo guía, tiene 43 cuadros en vertical lo que significa que se deben hacer 43 hileras de nudos. Cada cuadro representa un nudo.

En esta técnica el hilo anudador envuelve dos veces cada uno de los hilos guía, de izquierda a derecha en la hileras impares y de derecha a izquierda en las hileras pares como muestra el siguiente dibujo.

I found this pattern for free on the web. It has 39 squares horizontally, which means that 39 guide threads are needed. It has 43 squares vertically, which means that 43 rows of knots must be made. Each square represents a knot.

In this technique, the knotting thread wraps around each of the guide threads twice, from left to right in the odd rows and from right to left in the even rows, as shown in the following drawing.

Proceso / Process

Para montar los hilos guía se deben cortar 19 hebras de 48 cm de hilo beige y una hebra adicional unida al ovillo, anudar por la mitad en el palito de plástico, ubicar la hebra unida al ovillo de primera a la izquierda como se muestra en la imagen, de ese modo se obtienen 39 hilo guía y un hilo anudador del color de fondo. Sujetar a la tabla con las pinzas para ropa.

To assemble the guide threads, cut 19 48 cm strands of beige yarn and an additional strand attached to the ball, knot in the middle on the plastic stick, place the strand attached to the ball first on the left as shown in the image, this way you get 39 guide threads and a knotting thread of the background color. Fasten to the board with the clothespins.

Como el hilo anudador de color de base se encuentra a la izquierda la primera hilera se comienza en ese sentido, ir agregando los demás hilos anudadores según corresponde en el patrón, los cambios de color se hacen cruzando las hebras por detrás.

Since the base color knotting thread is on the left, the first row begins in that direction, adding the other knotting threads as appropriate in the pattern. Color changes are made by crossing the strands from behind.

Cuando la distancia de dos nudos de un mismo color en una misma hilera sea grande, se debe procurar no apretar los hilos por detrás al hacer el cambio de color, pues esto causaría tensión y se distorsionaría el aspecto plano del resultado.

When the distance between two knots of the same colour in the same row is large, care should be taken not to tighten the threads from behind when changing colours, as this would cause tension and distort the flat appearance of the result.

Al finalizar la última hilera de nudos, dividir las hebras en 4 parte y con un hilo rojo hacer un nudo corredizo en cada parte, cortar para emparejar y hacer flecos.

Con 6 hebras de 20cm de hilo beige hacer una trenza y unirla a los extremos del palito de plástico para formar el asa del colgante de pared.

After finishing the last row of knots, divide the strands into 4 parts and with a red thread make a slip knot in each part, cut to match and make fringes.

With 6 strands of 20cm beige thread make a braid and attach it to the ends of the plastic stick to form the handle of the wall hanging.

Resultado / Result

Siempre que finalizo un proyecto digo que es mi favorito, pero en definitiva este es mi colgante de pared favorito del año, estoy muy contenta con el resultado.

Whenever I finish a project I always say that it is my favorite, but this is definitely my favorite wall hanging of the year, I am very happy with the result.
