Día especial en la academia

Saludos queridas madres y padres de Hive, hoy fue un día muy especial en la academia de ajedrez para mi hijo Rafael, pues no fue una clase habitual sino más bien una actividad recreativa, se trataba de ver una película llamada En busca de Bobby Fischer, la cual está basada en un historia de la vida real, pero que aunque el nombre hace alusión a la leyenda del ajedrez Bobby Fischer y en la cinta se narra parte de su historia, la trama principal gira en torno a la niñez de un prodigio del ajedrez llamado Joshua Waitzkin, entonces es una película que trata de un niño talentoso para el ajedrez pero cuyos padres sienten la presión de escoger lo que es mejor para que su niño tenga una buena infancia.

Greetings dear mothers and fathers of Hive, today was a very special day at the chess academy for my son Rafael, because it was not a regular class but rather a recreational activity, it was about watching a movie called In Search of Bobby Fischer, which is based on a real life story, but although the name refers to the chess legend Bobby Fischer and the film narrates part of his story, the main plot revolves around the childhood of a chess prodigy. Chess player named Joshua Waitzkin, then it is a film that is about a child who is talented at chess but whose parents feel the pressure to choose what is best for their child to have a good childhood.

Como Rafael esta asistiendo en el horario de la clase avanzada comparte solo con dos niños de 14 años, Rafael es el menor porque tiene 8 años, en la película el niño protagonista tiene 7 cuando comienza a jugar ajedrez y posee un talento muy grande, pero se enfrenta a momentos en los que la competencia se vuelve difícil a nivel emocional, pues el posee un talento indiscutible pero al conocer a un oponente con talento teme a la derrota porque su papa lo presiona mucho con la idea de ganar, para el niño jugar es lo divertido no necesariamente ganar, pero no quiere defraudar a su padre, su madre es más comprensiva y está se enfrenta en su momento a su esposo y al maestro del niño para defender la felicidad de su hijo.

Since Rafael is attending the advanced class, he shares only with two 14-year-old children. Rafael is the youngest because he is 8 years old. In the film, the protagonist boy is 7 when he starts playing chess and has a very great talent, but He faces moments in which the competition becomes difficult on an emotional level, since he has indisputable talent but upon meeting a talented opponent he fears defeat because his father puts a lot of pressure on him with the idea of winning, for the child to play. What’s fun is not necessarily winning, but he doesn’t want to disappoint his father, his mother is more understanding and confronts her husband and the child’s teacher at the time to defend her son’s happiness.

Aunque la actividad era para los estudiantes de la academia, para que se motivaron aún más con el ajedrez, creo que esta película debería ser vista por los representantes de los niños, pues trata un aspecto muy importante, me refiero a que muchos padres no saben manejar sus emociones cuando tienen a un hijo destacado en algún deporte, algunos presionan a sus hijos con la idea de ganar los torneos y esta carga es muy pesada, haciendo que lo niños se decepcionen y terminen abandonando sus sueños debido a la presión, por otro lado existen los padres que no permiten a sus hijos hacer otras actividades recreativas o deportivas que sean ajenas a la actividad principal, esto limita mucho a los niños porque comienzan a perder la diversión, todos estos errores que a veces cometen los padres no lo hacen con malas intensiones, pero algunos padres terminan obsesionándose con el desenvolviendo de sus hijos en las competencias que olvidan un poco los sentimientos de los niños, así que recomiendo mucho esta película para cualquier padre que tenga a sus hijos en algún deporte, pues al final los padres de la película encuentran la manera de resolver el conflicto familiar y hacer que su hijo continuara en el ajedrez sin perder la alegría.

Although the activity was for the students of the academy, so that they became even more motivated with chess, I think that this film should be seen by the representatives of the children, as it deals with a very important aspect, I mean that many parents do not know manage their emotions when they have a child who excels in some sport, some put pressure on their children with the idea of winning tournaments and this burden is very heavy, making the children disappointed and end up abandoning their dreams due to the pressure, on the other hand On the other hand, there are parents who do not allow their children to do other recreational or sports activities that are unrelated to the main activity. This limits the children a lot because they begin to lose the fun. All these mistakes that parents sometimes make are not done with care. Bad intentions, but some parents end up becoming obsessed with their children’s performance in competitions that they forget a little about the children’s feelings, so I highly recommend this movie for any parent who has their children in a sport, because in the end the parents of the film they find a way to resolve the family conflict and make their son continue playing chess without losing their joy.

Hoy después de la película los niños se sentían muy motivados y da la casualidad que recibimos la visita del presidente del club de ajedrez y el tiene un nivel avanzado, así que se puso a jugar con los estudiantes, me gustó mucho esto porque el no solo juega por jugar, sino que explica cuales serían los mejores movimientos en cada situación y hace saber los errores de los estudiantes para que estos puedan darse cuenta y cambiar la estrategia y dar una mejor visión del panorama del juego.

Today after the movie the children felt very motivated and it just so happened that we received a visit from the president of the chess club and he has an advanced level, so he started playing with the students, I really liked this because he not only He plays for the sake of playing, but explains what the best moves would be in each situation and makes the students’ mistakes known so that they can realice and change the strategy and give a better vision of the panorama of the game.

Rafael se divirtió mucho, jugó una partida con uno de los otros niños y gan, con el presidente de club jugó tres veces sin poder ganar, pero dando un buen desempeño y aprendiendo mucho de los consejos de este, por eso considero que el día de hoy fue muy productivo tanto para mi niño como para mi al disfrutar de la película y sentirme aún más motivada a apoyar a Rafael.

Rafael had a lot of fun, he played a game with one of the other children and won, with the club president he played three times without being able to win, but giving a good performance and learning a lot from his advice, that’s why I consider that the day of Today was very productive for both my child and me as we enjoyed the movie and felt even more motivated to support Rafael.
