Saludos querida comunidad, el año pasado realicé un collar con el símbolo de la triqueta celta como regalo para un amiga muy querida, me gustan bastantes este tipo de símbolos porque tienen un significado muy importante que ha trascendido sus orígenes celtas hasta convertirse en algo de cultura general, el símbolo del trisquel se diferencia por ser tres espirales unidos, tiene cierta similitud a la triqueta porque también tiene una triada como significado, puede representar el presente, el pasado y el futuro, así como también el alma, el cuerpo y el espíritu, es un símbolo que también se asocia comúnmente al equilibrio, la evolución y también se usa como protección, por eso quise hacerlo en colores tierra, en este caso el color beige oscuro y el marrón, espero les guste.

Greetings dear community, last year I made a necklace with the Celtic triquetra symbol as a gift for a very dear friend. I really like these kinds of symbols because they have a very important meaning that has transcended their Celtic origins to become part of general culture. The triskelion symbol is distinguished by being three joined spirals. It has a certain similarity to the triquetra because it also has a triad as its meaning. It can represent the present, the past, and the future, as well as the soul, body, and spirit. It is a symbol that is also commonly associated with balance, evolution, and is also used for protection. That's why I wanted to make it in earth tones, in this case, dark beige and brown. I hope you like it.

Para diseñar este patrón usé la aplicación Pixel Station, creé un lienzo de 22 cuadros en horizontal por 19 cuadros en vertical, con la herramienta selector de color y el pincel pinté cuadro por cuadro el trisquel, mientras que con el bote de pintura pinté los cuadros del color de fondo, luego en la aplicación Inshot edité la imagen para colocar los números, estos representan el número de hilos guía necesarios (22) y el numero de hileras de nudos (19).

To design this pattern I used the Pixel Station application, I created a canvas of 22 squares horizontally by 19 squares vertically, with the color picker tool and the brush I painted the triskelion square by square, while with the paint bucket I painted the squares with the background color, then in the Inshot application I edited the image to place the numbers, these represent the number of guide threads needed (22) and the number of rows of knots (19).

Proceso / Process

Cortar 70 cm del cordón, tomar un extremo y hacer un nudo corredizo envolviendo el extremo opuesto, hacer lo mismo con el otro lado, de ese modo se obtiene el collar que se puede ampliar y reducir para ajustarse a la medida del cuello.

Cut 70 cm of the cord, take one end and make a sliding knot by wrapping it around the opposite end, do the same with the other side, in this way you get the collar that can be enlarged and reduced to fit the neck size.

Colocar el collar rodeando la tabla. Con el hilo beige cortar 11 hebras de 30 cm, tomar las hebras por la mitad y anudarlas en el centro del collar, de ese modo se obtiene los 22 hilos guía como se puede observar en las imágenes.

Place the necklace around the board. With the beige thread, cut 11 strands of 30 cm each, take the strands in the middle and knot them in the center of the necklace, thus obtaining the 22 guide threads as can be seen in the images.

Sostener el collar con las pinzas para ropa y aprovechar también para agregar el hilo anudador del color de fondo y el hilo color marrón, hacer los nudos según el patrón en donde cada cuadro representa un nudo, en esta técnica los nudos se hacen cuando el hilo anudador envuelve dos veces cada uno de los hilos guía, de izquierda a derecha en las hileras impares y de derecha a izquierda en las hileras pares, la ubicación del número en el patrón indica la orientación de los nudos en la hilera, al cambiar de color los hilos anudadores se cruzan por detrás.

Hold the necklace with clothespins and take the opportunity to add the knotting thread of the background color and the brown thread, make the knots according to the pattern where each square represents a knot, in this technique the knots are made when the knotting thread wraps twice around each of the guide threads, from left to right in the odd rows and from right to left in the even rows, the location of the number in the pattern indicates the orientation of the knots in the row, when changing color the knotting threads cross behind.

Al finalizar las hileras del patrón hacer una hilera adicional solo con el hilo beige, separar los hilos guía en 4 partes y hacer 4 nudos, cortar el excedente del largo para crear flecos, cortar y esconder por detrás los hilos anudadores.

At the end of the pattern rows, make an additional row using only the beige thread, separate the guide threads into 4 parts and make 4 knots, cut off the excess length to create fringe, cut and hide the knotting threads behind.
