Saludos a todos, las tortugas ninjas son unos personajes que sin duda se han quedado en la mayoría de los corazones de los que crecimos en los 80 y 90, pero me alegra ver que en las nuevas generaciones también hay fans debido a las adaptaciones mas recientes, son personajes reconocibles en la cultura popular y por eso me alegra mucho poder compartir este tutorial con ustedes, espero les guste 😊

Greetings everyone! The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are characters that have undoubtedly captured the hearts of most of us who grew up in the '80s and '90s, but I'm happy to see that there are also fans among newer generations thanks to the more recent adaptations. They're recognizable characters in popular culture, and that's why I'm so excited to share this tutorial with you. I hope you enjoy it! 😊

Materiales / Materials

• Hilo acrílico para crochet de 1 mm: beige, negro, vinotinto, rojo, blanco, verde oscuro, verde claro, marrón claro y amarillo.
• Cordón de hilo chino
• Tabla
• Regla
• Tijera
• Encendedor
• 2 pinzas para ropa

• 1 mm acrylic crochet thread: beige, black, burgundy, red, white, dark green, light green, light brown, and yellow.
• Chinese thread cord
• Cutting board
• Ruler
• Scissors
• Lighter
• 2 clothespins

Proceso / Process

Para elaborar este patrón usé una imagen de referencia que encontré en Pinterest, en la aplicación Pixel Station creé un lienzo de 21 cuadros de ancho por 25 de alto, con el selector de color y la herramienta pincel pinte cuadro por cuadro la figura y con el bote de pintura pinté el fondo, escogí hacer la tortuga con la mascara roja es decir a Raphael porque es mi favorito pero pueden hacer el color que su preferencia. En la aplicación Inshot agregué el número de hilos guía y el numero de cada hilera de nudos.

To create this pattern, I used a reference image I found on Pinterest. In the Pixel Station app, I created a canvas 21 squares wide by 25 squares high. Using the color picker and the brush tool, I painted the figure square by square, and with the paint bucket tool, I painted the background. I chose to make the turtle with the red mask—that is, Raphael—because he's my favorite, but you can use any color you prefer. In the InShot app, I added the number of guide threads and the number of each row of knots.

Comencé haciendo la base del collar cortando 70 cm de hilo chino, tomé un de los extremos e hice un nudo corredizo envolviendo el extremo opuesto, hice los mismo del otro lado y quemé las puntas. Rodeé la tabla con el collar ajustable y sostuve con las pinzas para ropa.

I started by making the base of the necklace by cutting 70 cm of Chinese thread. I took one end and made a slipknot, wrapping it around the opposite end. I did the same on the other side and burned the ends. I wrapped the adjustable necklace around the board and secured it with clothespins.

Con hilo beige corté 10 hebras de 28 cm y una hebra adicional unida al ovillo, anudé las hebras por la mitad al centro del collar, anudé la hebra unida al ovillo de primer lugar a la izquierda, obteniendo así el hilo anudador del color del fondo y los 21 hilos guía.

With beige yarn I cut 10 strands of 28 cm and an additional strand attached to the ball, I knotted the strands in the middle at the center of the necklace, I knotted the strand attached to the ball first on the left, thus obtaining the knotting thread of the background color and the 21 guide threads.

Seguí el patrón para hacer los nudos, los nudos se hacen cuando el hilo anudador envuelve dos veces cada uno de los hilos guía, de izquierda a derecha en las hileras impares y de derecha a izquierda en las pares, la ubicación del numero de hilera en el patrón indica el inicio de la hilera y por lo tanto la orientación del nudo, cada cuadro representa un nudo, los cambios de color se hacer al cruzar los hilos anudadores por detrás.

I followed the pattern to make the knots; the knots are made when the knotting thread wraps twice around each of the guide threads, from left to right in the odd rows and from right to left in the even rows. The location of the row number in the pattern indicates the beginning of the row and therefore the orientation of the knot. Each square represents a knot. The color changes are made by crossing the knotting threads behind.

Al finalizar las 25 hileras de nudos, separé en 4 partes los hilos guía e hice 4 nudos, corté el excedente del hilo para emparejar las puntas y formar flecos, corté y escondí los hilos anudadores por detrás.

After completing the 25 rows of knots, I separated the guide threads into 4 parts and made 4 knots, cut off the excess thread to even out the ends and form fringes, and cut and hid the knotting threads behind.
