Saludos querida comunidad de las manualidades, lo prometido es deuda así que viendo que les gustó el collar de Sally que compartí en la publicación pasada, hoy comparto con ustedes un tutorial para realizar un collar en la técnica de macramé con la figura de Jack Skellington el compañero eterno de Sally, ver a los dos personajes juntos solo hace que en mi mente suene la canción que ellos cantan en la película de manera tan romántica, pesero a ustedes les guste.

Greetings dear craft community, a promise is a promise, so seeing that you liked Sally's necklace that I shared in the last post, today I share with you a tutorial to make a necklace using the macramé technique with the figure of Jack Skellington, Sally's eternal companion. Seeing the two characters together only makes the song they sing in the movie so romantically play in my mind, even if you like it.

Materiales / Materials

• Hilo acrílico para crochet: blanco, negro, gris, rojo y naranja.
• Cordón (puede ser yute o hilo chino)
• 2 pinzas para ropa
• Tabla
• Tijera
• Patrón

• Acrylic crochet yarn: white, black, gray, red, and orange.
• Cord (can be jute or Chinese thread)
• 2 clothespins
• Board
• Scissors
• Pattern

Proceso / Process

Antes de trabajar con los hilos es necesario tener el patrón que les facilito, pueden guardar la imagen para verla directamente desde sus dispositivos o pueden dibujarla en un cuaderno cuadriculado, yo recomiendo la segunda opción para proteger la vista. Para hacer este patrón usé la aplicación Pixel Station con un lienzo de 21 X 24 cuadros, con las herramientas pincel y bote de pintura pude dibujar la figura. Luego para colocar la numeración edite la imagen en Inshot.

Before working with the threads, you need to have the pattern I provided. You can save the image to view it directly on your device, or you can draw it in a grid notebook. I recommend the latter to protect your eyesight. To make this pattern, I used the Pixel Station app on a 21 x 24 square canvas. I used the brush and paint bucket tools to draw the shape. Then, to add the numbering, I edited the image in Inshot.

Medir y cortar 70 cm de cordón, tomar un extremo y hacer un nudo corredizo envolviendo el extremo opuesto del cordón, hacer lo mismo del otro lado, el resultado será un collar ajustable para que pueda ampliarse para dejar pasar la cabeza y luego reducirse para ajustar al cuello.

Measure and cut 70 cm of cord, take one end and make a slip knot wrapping it around the opposite end of the cord, do the same on the other side, the result will be an adjustable necklace so that it can be widened to fit the head and then narrowed to fit the neck.

Rodear la tabla con el collar, luego con el hilo negro cortar 10 hebras de 30cm y una hebra adicional unida al ovillo, tomar cada hebra por la mitad y anudarla al centro del collar, anudar la hebra unida al ovillo de primer lugar a la izquierda, como resultado se obtienen 21 hilos guía y un hilo anudador.

Surround the board with the necklace, then with the black thread cut 10 strands of 30cm and an additional strand attached to the ball, take each strand by the middle and knot it to the center of the necklace, knot the strand attached to the ball first on the left, as a result you get 21 guide threads and a knotting thread.

Con las pinzas para ropa asegurar el cordón del collar y además sujetar los hilos anudadores que se irán agregando, agregar el hilo anudador naranja para la primera hilera de nudos, en esta técnica cada cuadro del patrón corresponde a un nudo, estos nudos se realizan envolviendo dos veces con el hilo anudador a cada uno de los hilos guía, los cambios de color se hacen cruzando los hilos anudadores por detrás, es decir se deja atrás el color anterior y se trae adelante el color a usar en el nudo, el orden para anudar es de izquierda a derecha en la hileras impares y de derecha a izquierda en las hileras pares.

With the clothespins secure the necklace cord and also hold the knotting threads that will be added, add the orange knotting thread for the first row of knots, in this technique each square of the pattern corresponds to a knot, these knots are made by wrapping the knotting thread twice around each of the guide threads, the color changes are made by crossing the knotting threads from behind, that is, the previous color is left behind and the color to be used in the knot is brought forward, the order for knotting is from left to right in the odd rows and from right to left in the even rows.

Al finalizar las 24 hileras de nudos que corresponden en el patrón, separar los hilos guía en 4 partes y hacer 4 nudos, con la tijera cortar los hilos para emparejar, por último, de deben esconder los hilos anudadores por detrás.

When you have finished the 24 rows of knots that correspond to the pattern, separate the guide threads into 4 parts and make 4 knots. Use scissors to cut the threads to match them. Finally, hide the knotting threads behind them.
