Greetings dear community, I hope you have a happy weekend. Today I'm sharing a new macrame tutorial with you: a necklace featuring Tony Chopper, the reindeer who serves as the doctor for the Straw Hat Pirates crew in the anime One Piece. This character is very cute, and I hope you like it too! 😊

Materiales / Materials

• Hilo acrílico para crochet de 1mm: gris, negro, blanco, rosado, marrón, beige, rojo y azul.
• Cordón de hilo chino
• Tabla
• Regla
• 2 pinzas para ropa
• Encendedor
• Tijera
• Patrón

• 1mm acrylic crochet yarn: gray, black, white, pink, brown, beige, red, and blue.
• Chinese cord
• Board
• Ruler
• 2 clothespins
• Lighter
• Scissors
• Pattern

Proceso / Process

Para elaborar este patrón usé como referencia una imagen que encontré en Pinterst, redibujé la imagen en la aplicación Pixel Station con un lienzo de 21 x 23 cuadros, con el selector de color y la herramienta pincel pinté cada uno de los cuadros de la figura y con la herramienta bote de pintura pinté el fondo. Con la aplicación Inshot edité la imagen del patrón para agregar los números de las hileras (23) y el numero de hilos guía (21).

To create this pattern, I used an image I found on Pinterest as a reference. I redrew the image in the Pixel Station app on a 21 x 23 square canvas. Using the color picker and brush tool, I painted each square of the pattern, and with the paint bucket tool, I painted the background. Using the InShot app, I edited the pattern image to add the row numbers (23) and the number of guide threads (21).

Con el cordón de hilo chino corté una hebra de 70 cm de largo, tomé un extremo e hice un nudo corredizo envolviendo el otro extremo, hice los mismo del otro lado, con un encendedor quemé las puntas sobresalientes de los nudos, de ese modo se o tiene un collar ajustable.

With the Chinese thread cord I cut a 70 cm long strand, took one end and made a sliding knot wrapping the other end, I did the same on the other side, with a lighter I burned the protruding ends of the knots, in this way you have an adjustable necklace.

Coloqué el collar rodeando la tabla. Con el hilo gris corté 10 hebras de 28 cm y una hebra adicional unida al ovillo. Tomando las el hebras por la mitad del largo las anudé al centro del collar, anudé en primer lugar a la izquierda la hebra unida al ovillo, de ese modo obtuve el primer hilo anudador de color gris y los 21 hilos guía.

I placed the necklace around the board. With the gray yarn, I cut 10 strands of 28 cm each and an additional strand attached to the ball. Taking the strands at their midpoints, I knotted them in the center of the necklace, first tying the strand attached to the ball on the left. This created the first gray knotting thread and the 21 guide threads.

Sujeté el collar a la tabla con las pinzas para ropa y usé estas mimas para ir sujetando los hilos anudadores que se iban a ir agregando según los necesitara, seguí el orden del patrón para hacer los nudos, cada cuadro corresponde a un nudo, los nudos se hacen con el hilo anudador correspondiente al color del cuadro y cuando se cambia de color se cruzan por detrás los hilos anudadores, los nudos se logran cuando el hilo anudador envuelve dos veces cada uno de los hilos guía, de izquierda a derecha en las hileras impares y de derecha a izquierda en las hileras pares, el numero de la hilera en el patrón está ubicado al inicio de la misma por lo tanto indica la dirección de los nudos.

I attached the necklace to the board with clothespins and used the same to hold the knotting threads that would be added as needed. I followed the pattern order to make the knots; each square corresponds to a knot. The knots are made with the knotting thread corresponding to the color of the square, and when changing colors, the knotting threads are crossed behind each other. The knots are achieved when the knotting thread wraps twice around each of the guide threads, from left to right in odd rows and from right to left in even rows. The row number in the pattern is located at the beginning of the row, therefore indicating the direction of the knots.

Para finalizar hice una hilera de nudos solo con hilo anudador gris, separé en 4 partes los hilos guía e hice 4 nudos y corté las puntas para dejar flecos del mismo largo, corté y encondí por detrás los hilos anudadores.

To finish, I made a row of knots using only gray knotting thread, separated the guide threads into 4 parts and made 4 knots, then cut the ends to leave fringes of the same length, and cut and hid the knotting threads behind.
