Saludos querida comunidad, espero se encuentren bien, hoy y a compartir con ustedes el primer proyecto navideño del año, se trata de un colgante para el arbolito de navidad, este tiene la forma de un mini gorro navideño, es tejido en dos agujas y el dibujo del Santa Claus no hice con la técnica del punto duplicado, espero les guste 😊

Greetings dear community, I hope you are all well. Today I'm sharing with you the first Christmas project of the year: a Christmas tree ornament shaped like a mini Christmas hat. It's knitted on two needles, and I didn't use the double stitch technique for the Santa Claus design. I hope you like it! 😊

Materiales / Materials

• Dos agujas para tejer de 2 mm
• Hilo acrílico de 1mm: beige oscuro, beige claro, verde, negro, rojo, blanco.
• Aguja lanera
• Tijera
• Pompón de tela de peluche
• Hilo y agua para coser
• Cuenta o abalorio grande
• Patrón

Para este dibujo usé una imagen de referencia, la redibujé en la aplicación Pixel Station agregando unas pequeñas modificaciones en el número de hileras.

For this drawing I used a reference image, redrew it in the Pixel Station application adding a few small modifications to the number of rows.

Proceso / Process

Con el hilo beige oscuro monté 38 puntos en la aguja, hice 4 hileras de punto musgo (todos los puntos al derecho), a partir de la quinta intercalé hice dos hileras con hilo verde por 4 hileras con hilo beige, trabajé con punto jersey, este punto se hace cuando en todas las hileras del frente se hacen puntos al derecho y en todas hileras del revés se hacen puntos al revés, trabajé recto hasta la hilera 28, luego hice 6 disminuciones por 5 hileras hasta tener 8 puntos en la aguja contando los dos de orillo, los puntos de orillo se hacen pasando el primer punto sin tejer y tejiendo el último punto al derecho. Luego cerrar los puntos restantes con el mismo hilo y la aguja lanera.

With the dark beige yarn, I cast on 38 stitches, worked 4 rows in garter stitch (knit every stitch), and from the fifth row onwards, I alternated two rows with green yarn with four rows with beige yarn. I worked in stockinette stitch, which is made by knitting all stitches on the front row and purling all stitches on the wrong side row. I worked straight until row 28, then made 6 decreases for 5 rows until I had 8 stitches on the needle, including the two edge stitches. The edge stitches are made by slipping the first stitch purlwise and knitting the last stitch. Then I bound off the remaining stitches with the same yarn and a tapestry needle.

Con la aguja lanera y las hebras del color correspondiente hice el dibujo siguiendo el patrón donde cada cuadro corresponde a un punto, en la técnica de punto duplicado la aguja entra de atrás hacia adelante por la parte inferior la V, luego pasa por la parte superior de las puntas de la V y sale por el mismo punto donde entró, es decir que se forma una V encima de la otra V por lo tanto el punto se duplica.

Using a yarn needle and the corresponding colored yarn, I made the drawing following the pattern where each square corresponds to a stitch. In the double stitch technique, the needle enters from back to front through the bottom of the V, then passes over the top of the V's points and comes out through the same point where it entered, meaning that a V is formed on top of the other V, therefore the stitch is doubled.

Al finalizar la figura cosí la parte lateral del mini gorro, no lo hice antes para que la hacer los puntos duplicados se hiciera más cómodo meter y sacar la aguja, luego con hilo y aguja cosí el pompón a la parte superior del gorro, luego con la aguja lanera introduje un hilo en el pompón y anudé y ajusté el abalorio o cuenta para formar el asa del colgante.

After finishing the figure, I sewed the side of the mini hat. I didn't do it before so that making the double stitches would be easier, inserting and removing the needle. Then, with thread and needle, I sewed the pom-pom to the top of the hat. Next, with the yarn needle, I inserted a thread into the pom-pom and knotted and adjusted the bead to form the handle of the pendant.
