De todas las especies del reino animal, si pudieras ser una de ellas, ¿cuál elegirías? ¿Con cuál te identificarías y por qué?

La familia de los félidos siempre ha sido mi favorita de todo el reino animal, pero dentro de las tantas especies que la conforman obviamente los gatos son mis animales favoritos, he tenido varios gatos en el transcurso de mi vida y aunque pase el tiempo siempre me siguen sorprendiendo su habilidades, inteligencia y comportamiento, muchas veces me encontrado pensando que mi vida sería mas feliz si yo fuese un gato, pero obviamente un gato cuidado por un humano de forma responsable y amorosa.

Por supuesto hay características relacionadas con la estética que me agradan mucho, por ejemplo a mi me gusta tener las uñas largas como un gatito pero de vez en cuando suceden accidentes en las cuales se me parte una uña y lo primero que pienso es que si yo fuese un gato no tendría ese problema, porque sus hermosas uñas son retractiles y se pueden ocultar muy bien dentro de sus patitas ovaladas y salir solo cuando sea necesario para trepar un árbol, defenderme o para arañar a mi humano favorito 😊

Si hay algo que admiro de los gatos es la habilidad que tienen para quedarse dormidos plácidamente casi en cualquier lugar, pues yo tengo problemas para dormir tranquilamente, así que viendo el sueño tan placentero e imperturbable de los gatos, desearía ser como ellos, poder simplemente cerrar mis ojos y quedaré dormida de inmediato, sin sufrir de ojeras y dolores cabeza por el insomnio, además me gusta que tengan tan buena visión nocturna, es como si tuvieran sus propios faros de luz en los ojos y sin necesidad de lentes especiales pueden caminar en la noche sin miedo a tropezar con nada, además con sus bigotes pueden guiarse a un mejor, al contrario de mi que incluso de día soy bastante limitada de la visión.

Me gusta la tranquilidad de los gatos, si ellos tiene cubiertas sus necesidades realmente no se quejan de nada, me gusta que no hacen ningún ruino al caminar, pueden alcanzar velocidades rápidas cuando corren pero también pueden saltar una altura impresionante considerando el tamaño de sus cuerpos, incluso cuando los gatos son gorditos siguen siendo bastante ágiles en sus movimientos, parece que sus huesos se pudieran acomodar a casi cualquier superficie como el agua, por eso quizá se siente tan cómodos en posiciones a veces tan extrañas, desearía tener un cuerpo así de fascinante, sería como tener superpoderes, ser un gato es lo equivalente tener un cuerpo dotado de grandes dones.

Of all the species in the animal kingdom, if you could be one of them, which would you choose? Which one would you identify with, and why?

The feline family has always been my favorite of the entire animal kingdom, but within the many species that make up the family, cats are obviously my favorite animals. I've had several cats throughout my life, and even as time goes by, I'm always surprised by their abilities, intelligence, and behavior. I often found myself thinking that my life would be happier if I were a cat—but obviously a cat cared for responsibly and lovingly by a human.

Of course, there are aesthetic characteristics that I really like. For example, I like having long nails like a kitten's. Occasionally, accidents happen where a nail breaks, and the first thing I think is that if I were a cat, I wouldn't have that problem. Their beautiful nails are retractable and can hide very well inside their oval paws, only coming out when necessary to climb a tree, defend myself, or scratch my favorite human. 😊

If there's one thing I admire about cats, it's their ability to fall asleep peacefully almost anywhere. I have trouble sleeping peacefully. So, seeing how pleasant and undisturbed cats sleep, I wish I were like them. I could simply close my eyes and fall asleep immediately, without suffering from dark circles and headaches from insomnia. I also like that they have such good night vision. It's as if they had their own beacons of light in their eyes, and without needing special glasses, they can walk at night without fear of tripping over anything. Plus, with their whiskers, they can navigate better, unlike me, who even during the day have quite limited vision.

I like the tranquility of cats. If their needs are met, they don't really complain about anything. I like that they don't make any mess when they walk. They can reach fast speeds when they run, but they can also jump an impressive height considering their body size. Even when cats are chubby, they are still quite agile in their movements. It seems that their bones could adapt to almost any surface, like water. Perhaps that's why they feel so comfortable in sometimes such strange positions. I wish I had a body that's so fascinating. It would be like having superpowers. Being a cat is the equivalent of having a body endowed with great feats.
